I'm relatively average at this game, but I try my best to engage in every part of it so that I can understand what's going on. When people who live in large groups and rely on support from others hop out into the real world and get stomped on, their first instinct is to blame mechanics and exploits, not player ability. If you really want to talk about balance, you require a balanced mindset devoid of prejudice. You've gotta be impartial. You can't just play one class over and over again, point fingers at the other classes and stomp your feet yelling "it's not fair," you have to play the other class and give a decent opinion built from experience.

The only reason I'm saying anything here is because I rolled a stamwarden to play with friends on EP and I'm still super bad at it, and iskra asked if I was cheating.

This thread isn't about balance, it's about starting the witch hunt for cheaters again. It's about people losing and looking for some other reason to blame than themselves. Either form an actual cohesive opinion, or take the L graciously.
