Morrowind isn't factored into the price. It's a free addition to the package. There is nothing to reimburse you for.

League of Legends is free and I've been playing it since 2012. Only recently I've been thinking of taking a break.
ESO costs $30 right now and I've been playing it a year. I took a break from it after 4 months.
Skyrim costed me $60 and I played it from since release til last year when I got ESO. I never took a break until now.

I'm not saying we should get something for owning Morrowind expansion, but ESO in general has nothing to offer.

What everyone else said. You've had a year's use of the product, why are you "owed" anything for that?

And how is this different than just about every other sale or product in the world? Buy a New HD TV when they first come out, pay thousands because you're an early adopter. Two years later, everyone and their brother is buying them for $400. You're not owed anything. Buy a game at launch for $60, buy $50 of DLC as they're released.... eight months later, people are buying the GOTY Collection of everything for $40. You're not owed anything.

You must be new to MMORPGS since this is how any decent mmo works
since 1999-2000 or so and it's a good system that keeps ppl that might come back from running away when they learn they need to spend hundreds of dollars just to catch up on expansions-chapters-.

If you dish out $200 for a designer jeans, don;t get mad when said designer jeans are on the discount rack for $20 the next fashion season.

You said it yourself: You have thus far gotten 2000+ of hours of entertainment from the game so far. Thousands. That's what you paid for.

Remember the days that you would buy a game off the shelf for your Playstation 2 for fifty to sixty bucks, play it for 10 hours, and then you were done with it? Then you'd trade it in, and spend another maybe 40-45 bucks to get a new game that would thus last another 10 hours?

Now? People complain that they spent 60-80 dollars (if they splurged on a collector's edition), and got thousands of hours of play time. Even after that, "Please give me more for that 60-80 dollars please."

It's ludicrous.

Not only that, but it shows a serious disconnect when it comes to how MMO's have done business for years. With the exception of World of Warcraft (which was a pain in the rear to get started in), every MMO i've ever played has included past expansions as a part of the new one, so that newer players don't have a heaping pile of stuff they have to purchase to get into the game. It's common sense, and helps rope new people in. If they were to listen to people like this? The amount of new blood that would approach the game as a piece of this marketing binge would be far fewer.

In closing, though, you got exactly what you paid for; the content you purchased this last year, and that time's access to that content. If you want to get something for free instead, then maybe you should wait until next year when Summerset will likely become an included piece of the next Chapter for pre-order.

LOL. Just kidding. I played it and enjoyed it, and to complain that something goes on sale a year later is ridiculous. Of course things are going to go on sale later, or be part of a package deal.

This is crazy. The most expensive version of Far Cry 5 includes a free copy of Far Cry 3. I guess Ubisoft should refund everyone that bought Far Cry 3? I bought a Google Pixel 2 XL for full price at launch. Now they are heavily discounted ($300 off, buy one get one free, etc.). I guess Google should refund me $300 or send me a second phone for free?

This is how it works and has always worked.

And, I think including Morrowind with Summerset is good for the game's health. I also greatly suspect that Morrowind will still be included with Summerset even after launch. The base game without Morrowind is not even available on the ESO store anymore. You can buy the base game with Morrowind for about $20 now.
