Plus we got to play the Morrowind content for a entire year more

Why would they offer you something? I know of no game that does this. You always pay more for being the first at getting something. You paid $80 for morrowind. I paid $30 or $40 for it a few months ago. Now some people are getting it for free. Who cares? And according to a recent poll on these forums over 75% of players dont care that its now free as part of promotion.mythlover20 wrote: »I paid eighty-***-dollars for Morrowind, and from your own press releases ZoS is offering us nothing. Nada. Zilch. *** All.
Those are optional, if you dont like the price dont buy them. Do you buy everything you see in the (brick and mortar) stores?mythlover20 wrote: »ZoS, you already screw us over with $60 motif books, and $50 assistants, and $130 houses.
Actually, it is far more likely that it is the laws and regulations of those countries that lock them out of competitions, not ZOS.mythlover20 wrote: »You screw over Australian and New Zealand players but locking them out of competitions.
If chance crates are illegal in your country and you dont want them to be, it sounds like you should be taking that up with your government. Also, what is in the crates is not necessary for gameplay. Just because you cant do it because its not legal doesnt mean everyone else should go without. You should take this issue up with your government.mythlover20 wrote: »You are currently screwing veteran players by offering next to nothing new in the holiday event reward boxes. You have no clue what P2W means like 99% of the people that sling it around on these forums. Download Game of War on your phone or an android emulator, play it for a month and then you will understand what P2W means.mythlover20 wrote: »Gameplay is half-arsed, all the effort we put into crafting and research is being undone and made pay-to-win.
Thats how you get new customers. Obviously if you are a vet player, you do not need an incentive to play. What was offered before was obviously enough. Also lets not exaggerate, there is a very very tiny percent of players that will quit because of crown crates, "P2W" as you call it, no rewards for vets, and because people now get morrowind free as part of a promotion. In fact, you are probably looking at 10-20 new players for every one that quits for one of those reasons. More people will quit this game because of lag, d/cs, and bugs than because of all the reasons you stated combined.mythlover20 wrote: »Literally all new content is being marketed towards the handful of new players that pop up per announcement, while veteran players who have been here for years and put hundreds of dollars and thousands of hours into this game are stampeding towards the cliffs of "Cancel Subscription" and "Delete Game".
bad mouthing for what? Because you didnt get your way? because you didnt get a bunch of free stuff? Because someone else got a discount on something you paid full price for even though its considered old content now? Oh know! Gamers will boycott ESO the world over for such atrocities! Or they will just write it off as an emorage....im going to put my money on the latter.mythlover20 wrote: »So, tell me, what are you going to do for us veteran players that will stop us cancelling our subscriptions and bad-mouthing you to the world? Because, honestly, I'm this close to giving you up. I've put 2577 hours into this game, and up until recently I still loved it; but with all of this, I am having a very, very difficult time remembering why.

1) It was not given to us as reimbursement for having to pay for an expansion pack that is now being given away; and,
2) Even if it was, it is not worth $80. You know what is worth $80? 8000 crowns.
So, yes, we have the right to be pissed off about this.
