Spell and weapon crit will still effect healing, just not critical damage - I.e. minor force and the like will no longer make critical heals more powerful.

If you're going to spread information at least make sure you're getting it right.

Pretty much wrong on all counts.

Nightblades will probably see Incap/Soul Harvest get a cost increase to 80-100, this will nerf them in both PVE and in PVP

The healing changes will hit all classes, but will probably be worst felt by Stamblades, given they rely on Cloak and Vigor for heals

Warden will see minor changes, because both variants aren't actually in a bad place

DK gets minor quality of life fixes

Sorc gets minor quality of life changes, because the class hasn't been close to OP for two whole patches now.

That's definitely something DK doesn't need. MagDK (both healer and damage dealer) need buffs, DK tank doesn't.

I still don't understand why they changed battle roar to favour Dk tanks ,but they seem convinced on the idea that Dks are tanks and tanks only. both stam and magDk are not in a great spot for PvP. and in PvE , DK really has issues on the magicka side of things, mainly due to insane skill costs, which hurts not only magDks, but tank and stamDks aswell , stopping them from getting anything out of Dk utility skills, like talons , GDB or wings. cus too expensive.

    @VaranisArano don't miss this one!!

Classic Knowledge here. Wants to mention Sorcs as they always get a reaction but unsure whats more contentious these days to buff or nerf - so suggest both and neither at the same time :) really Sorcs need their own thread it would have been hotter topic :)

Care to elaborate @Knowledge what tone down means? As that is the vagest line yet. What Sorc tones do you think are too much?

Personally i would like to see some un-nerfing as that's both nerfing and buffing simultaneously :) Frag to get its stun back and 20% damage, Ultimate back to 1000, he'll let's have wards back to 20sec and remove the stocking cost of streak.

Oh can we double streaks distance too and add a root after the stun? Actually and add +10% to duel wield if used by a MagSorc. :)

DK, NB, sorc healers get a boost (DK need it the most tho)
magDK get a boost (probably via a change to helping hands, inadvertantly hurting DK tanks)
    stamDK get a small nerf
NB, sorc and templar tanks get a boost (or warden/dk get nerf)
warden dps get a small boost

Those are the class/role combinations I feel they have a large variance in relative power, & yes i'm an optimist for asking for the underplayed combinations with relatively small voices to be tweaked...

I am just getting bored of seeing the same two classes tanking/healing for at least 95% of (vet) dungeon finder groups & trials.

Hey, everyone, just remember that the OP totally posts these to prompt discussion on the forum its totally not bait, no why would you ever think that? and that if you want your post to stick around its got to be on topic.

    My predictions about your predictions.

Nightblades receive heavy nerfs - And the forums continue to whine about them because some people just can't accept that they died to a nightblade's gank/burst/surpriseattack/stealthiness/basically anything a nightblade can do.

Templars and Warden healers are nerfed via weapon critical no longer modifying healing (stated by a moderator) - This is a thinly disguised "If we tell them it wasn't working as intended despite working like this for practically forever, they won't complain that we're nerfing their healers" nerf to healers. ZOS is getting smart about announcing nerfs guys!

Warden sees a significant buff to damage output and retooling of its abilities
    - And you post a thread about "Are the new Wardens Pay 2 Win?" because that question is right up your alley and the forums are going to be screaming it anyway. PVE wardens do need some work on their ability to do the sustained damage needed for PVE, but, lets be honest here, the slightest buff to Warden DPS is going to make everyone go P2W?! and the PVPers go nuts.

Dragonknight gets a large buff on the magicka side of things bringing it back into relevancy for PVP. -
As long as Dragonknights, especially MagDKs are excellent in duels and PVE tanking, I don't expect DKs to get a good DPS buff. ZOS still treats DK as the premier tank class that it is and doesn't want to make DKs the ONLY choice for tank, which would probably happen with a DPS boost.

Sorcerer gets toned down a little but sort of nerf/buffed. - Couldn't decide which, huh? I predict that ZOS will continue to beg people to use the Crystal Blast morph and the community will continue to use Crystal Frags.

    My predictions:
    • Players will continue to while about P2W all through the PTS, gradually nerfing everything down and then at release wonder "Why does this suck?" like they didn't just spend a bunch of time whining about it - PVE MagWardens, looking at you.
    • Everyone whose class gets nerfed will immediately complain that they are trash, useless, and ZOS wants them to delete their character, oh BTW can we get a class change token?
    • New Players start going "What's the right order to do the content?" seeing as how the tutorial plops them in the middle of Part 3 of a story arc and away from the start of the game's main quest.
    • Log-in awards are 97% useless junk, exact percentages may vary.

    I think he means:

    1. Wrobel will do something stupid to at least ONE of the TWO direct damage class abilities we have left (not counting the execute). The nerf will arrive with his usual “this is a buff if you have 10K Magicka or less, and a nerf if you have more!” All this - When we damn well know everyone and their mom has 10K or more Magicka.

    2. Sorc sounds like it will *really* synergize well with the new psjic skill lines.

This is speculation of course, and speculation is fun. I know the people who hate fun will scream about it, but I don’t care.

From what I hear from my guild mates that are still doing trials and PvP this game is the most balanced it's been in a long time. I haven't played the game in 5 or 6 months so I can't say with confidence, but I recall Nightblades being fairly balanced (if anything they needed a buff in pve but I hear that isn't the case anymore).

The main thing I recall over performing were damage shields, snares and defile. With that said I don't know why they would nerf healing even further.

In reference to all this Nightblade outcry. Like sorcs they're great noob slayers (although less tanky than a sorc). So I'm assuming more and more vets are leaving the game.

But yeah the new skill line, and jewelry crafting sounds interesting, but I'm waiting for the pts before I decide to pre-order it. If ZOS does anything ridiculous I'm uninstalling the game. I've already stopped my subscription a long time ago, but I've kept the game in case they bring in consistent small scale PvP. However I am more than happy to hit the final nail into the coffin.

Stam Dk is dead in pvp ignoring any potential buffs to it in pvp(which they probably will) or nerfing it will simply sent the class 12ft under.

Actually it may be that nightblade stays the same as it's STAMINA, that is the real issue. And other classes are brought up a bit. The Psijic order skill line will probably be like the Warden and P2W so yeah... Figure it out
