Yup...have been doing by and havnt seen this level of imbalance some people are talking about... Sure sometimes you run into a good team coordinating on ts (have been soing3 only pugs) and you get hammered. But that's how it should be. It as a mmo and people befriend, train and play together. It s not a l2p, all of had to l2p. It s more the sense of "want to win now and everything" that I don't understand. Then they say millennials

You do know the baby boomers are more entitled than millennials, right? (Cheap college tuition, tier 1 to teir 3 benefits on most city/federal jobs, cheap house costs, etc). Most millennials walked into a giant recession in 2009, caused by baby boomers who wanted more money so they lowered the restrictions on housing loans.

Back to topic, the imbalance issues are there, some classes can weather them more than others. For example, nCP is better suited for maximizing damage over max stat. This causes issues for sorcs/magdens that have built max stat for defense, and are pitted against stamina classes that get both healing+DMG from 2 stats (crit+weapon damage) and they can proc mag cost poisons easier.

Then add the fact mag toons can't get dodge chance and don't have access to 20% cheaper dodge roll, and now you have a situation where instant cast burst is deadly for certain builds out of the gate.

Sometimes a picture says more than a thousand words: 2zH58jw.jpg

10-50 is unfortunately plagued to some extent by so called "twinks". I wrote about it in another thread with a similar topic.

We're talking about players who can't be killed even if both other teams will cooperate to kill them together. Even if they get knocked down into lava and it takes them almost ten seconds to get out, while 4 players are spamming ranged attacks on them.
I have a lot of other examples, but I think you get the point by now (I did play battlegrounds in this bracket every single day for a few weeks straight and now I barely enter them at all anymore, all due to this).

I wish the developers would somehow restrict this kind of thing to make battlegrounds a more fun place for players. Ergo more happy customers = good business. Blizzard did it with the twink-battlegrounds, so I'm sure it's somehow possible here as well.
And just to clarify, I don't mind dying and I don't have to win all the time. There's just zero fun in having a player that is simply impossible to kill, even if two teams cooperate and coordinate.

I leveled a new toon and he wore all training blue gear lvl 18 and I did bgs all the way up to 50 and he did fine.

It’s more player skill that makes the imbalance since there are always alts and new players. Not much can be done about that

See, I'm doing this now and I find the opposite. My damage is crap, compared to other players using the same skills. With 32k magicka and 2.4k spell power, my abilities barely do 1k damage (on a new lvl 25 magblade in all blue gear). And it's not isolated, it's every match.

    1. Stop playing BGs.
    2. Focus on Sotha sil's small scale group fights.
    3. Have fun
    4. Profit (literally)*

    * Tip for new players: Cyrodiil comes free with ESO package. BGs are sold separately with Morrowind. It's vastly inferior to Cyrodiil and unless you REALLY want to crush with toxic premades, save your money. You don't even have to buy subs.
Cyrodiil is a bang for the money and there's some really nice PVP there.

I would do 1000 vs premade matches in BGs than the hours of boredom in cyrodiil

well that cant be what actually happening. all skills do different damage, and when your inexperienced it can seem overwhelming and like you are doing absolutely nothing against an experienced player. but i promise if you keep practicing you wont see it that way anymore. i can go on a brand new toon lvl 10 and kill max cp toons that are not very good. people will send whispers that you hack because you ultied into a dodge roll into a execute. the more you practice the more you can actually see whats happening.

when i fight now even if i make a mistake i know as im doing it and can see im going to die. where as when i was new it just looked like lights and i was dead. and i wondered how i would ever get better. this seem a lot slower when you know what actually happening around you and know all the mechanics
