Pretty straight forward IMO, if you don't see it, choose the option that shows what you want and drag your mouse over each.

The only decision for some if Buy the BIG collectors edition...I should've got that vs the Summerset CE. One seems to have everything for both servers......that's what I need to contact support on as the $79 makes best sense for me as I've not picked up any on PC just Xbox...for Xbox its the summerset CE Upgrade version

Out of curiosity, I went and checked GW2 because you can play the base game for free. When I started playing, you could buy Heart of Thorns and access those areas.

Now, you can only buy Path of Fire, which is the more recent expansion. It's not clear to me if HoT is now part of the base game or if it is included in the Expansion.

They're doing a similar thing to ESO's Complete Edition, but displaying it differently. The default 'buy the game' page just shows Path of Fire (which includes the full version of base game), then after you've selected either the normal or special edition you're taken to a second page where you can add optional extras, including Heart of Thorns and the Living Story (DLC). So it's kind of a 'build your own bundle' set-up.

As other people have said I think it's sensible for games, and especially MMOs, to offer these types of bundles. It can put potential new players off if they think they have to buy loads of different things just to get started - not only is it expensive, it's also quite confusing trying to work out what's in each version and which one/s you need. Much better for everyone if the developers can just say "If you don't already have the game buy this" and leave all the bits and pieces for existing players who may want to be more selective, or only pay to pick up the stuff they're missing.

It's a good business decision as it allows new players to enter the game and have access too all content without having to buy multiple versions of the game which would be expensive and confusing.

You are supposed to get morrowind when you pre purches any edition of Summerset as long as you haven’t had morrowind. I haven’t had morrowind before and pre ordered the upgrade but still don’t have access to morrowind and I am getting very annoyed even after submitting a ticket. Been over 48 hours now.
