Okay, can you click the agree button for the original post please? Assuming you do agree with not being toxic, that is.
Oh, so it's a farming reactions thread?
Wonderful.
No, not at all. I am just saying if you guys agree with it wouldn't you click the agree button?
EDIT: Unless you advocate toxicity, that is.

Really, really early. Launch isn't until May 21 for PC/Mac.
Its almost like you just wanted to farm reactions and insult anyone who calls you out on it by insinuating they support toxic behavior. Sorry, a leopard changing its spots and all. Maybe this is the most genuine, helpful post to be genuine and helpful, but if so it makes a nice change of pace from the usual bait.
Reminders about how to be a decent and polite community are all well and good but,
A. Morrowind at launch was actually pretty decent. I saw lots of people in chat willing to help others and correct the trolls. No special reminders needed.
B. Everything else is pretty much repeating forum and game rules. Like, I'm glad you know the rules. So do we. Report the players in zone chat who ignore the rules. Move on.
C. Did I mention that this is a really early reminder? Maybe you should have saved this for closer to launch?

please....don't give him ideas.

On launch day I'm going to stand in the Hub city and roleplay a protestor, yelling "Death to the Dominion" in chat.
It's important for us to visit this topic as a community now and again to fight the build up of unnecessary toxicity. When the expansion/chapter launches there will be quite a bit of people playing. A large amount of old players will be returning to the game while new players join for the very first time. It is important that we respect these returning and new players for the betterment of our community.
Here's some things we should consider:
- Try not to break players immersion with silly comments or heinous acts
- Don't berate new and old players for lack of in-game knowledge
- Always offer help when you can - you were them once.
- Try to discourage others from being toxic by actively intervening in toxic behavior
- Remember to ignore the players that refuse to stop being toxic.
- Allow low CP players to join you in harder content. Sure, it may be a carry but it's fun!
- Grouping is good and friendly.
- Try not to flaunt your collector's edition items too much.
- Don't argue in zone chat.
- Remember, there's a real person behind that character.
- Don't be racist, ableist, sexist, or mean.
Remember, we're all here to enjoy this game and the one thing it does have is a good community. As it grows in popularity it is important for us to keep that community intact.

The people who are usually helpful, friendly and welcoming will continue to be without any need for threads from the op. The people who aren't usually helpful, friendly and welcoming won't change because the op posted a thread farming for "agrees" and/or stars in the forum that the large percentage of players never visit.LadyAstrum wrote: »I agree with many of OP's points because there's plenty to be said for being helpful, friendly and welcoming to new, returning and current players.
This one:• Try not to flaunt your collector's edition items too much.
Strays into "mind your own business" territory. People can flaunt whatever they like, this is a game not a communist haven.

In my opinion, "Knowledge" isn't baiting, (s)he's farming stars.hmm, also no creating threads with the intention of baiting
Spoken like a true self-appointed leader. Community was here before you arrived and will remain after you've moved on. It will remain intact without any assistance from any single individual.Remember, we're all here to enjoy this game and the one thing it does have is a good community. As it grows in popularity it is important for us to keep that community intact.
I'm not sure why you included the point above, as I'm fairly certain you've never carried anyone, anywhere, anytime. And low level players don't necessarily want it handed to them. Some actually want to earn their way.
- Allow low CP players to join you in harder content. Sure, it may be a carry but it's fun!
You're worried about immersion, but many of your threads are engineered to promote conflict.
- Try not to break players immersion
This should also include not spreading misinformation or touting personal opinion as truth. It's equally not unreasonable to expect at least a basic level of in-game knowledge and understanding.
- Don't berate new and old players for lack of in-game knowledge
- Remember, there's a real person behind that character.

There's cart loads of clueless AD potatoes in Cryodiil already, you won't be able to farm 'em fast enough as it is.

VaranisArano wrote: »Ignore doesn't work on forum threads, though, so if I have to see the thread, I might as well be able to see the rest of the OP's responses.
The OP may not want to engage in genuine debate, but I prefer to debate with enough integrity to actually respond to the other side.

Good luck, OP.

Interestingly enough, @Numerikuu , when I do see this, it typically involves someone in zone chat spreading misinformation like wildfire in hopes of gaining a following based on their advice.
- Don't berate new and old players for lack of in-game knowledge.
- I rarely, if ever, see this. Though if anyone is ever that much of an arse, just ignore/block them. Problem solved~
If that's requirement, feel free to add my name to the list.vyndral13preub18_ESO wrote: »PelinalWhitestrake wrote: »I see OP stepped up his game to farm points on the forum.
I like this new plan.
If you don’t give me points you are obviously a bad person.
I guess he got tired of pretending.
[*] Try not to flaunt your collector's edition items too much.

Good luck, OP.
It'd go over better if it weren't coming
A. Two months before release
B. From a poster who has a history of posting bait/dead horse threads (A stopped clock is right twice a day, but it still needs new batteries)
