In the past week we've had the incap threads, then the cloak threads, what do you think is going to come next?

I'm not adding Fear to the poll cause you'll all vote for that

I would just prefer that all the combat threads be moved to their appropriate category like everything else is. Besides, 99.999999% of these NB threads are because of PvP. If I am really wanting to see another nerf NB thread, I can go to PvP section of the forums with a bowl of popcorn when I need some entertainment.

Agreed. The constant cloak guys usually work in teams, often with another class that keeps the other players busy and provides support. People in those situations focus on cloak because it's what frustrates them, but really it's the attacking teammate that they need to focus down.

Really don't care what the next one is. Just tired of all the Nerf threads, as soon as one thing is nerfed there is a new thing that people want done next. It does not end. There could be a single build available to everyone and I think there would still be nerf threads.

Because its overtuned as heck. The counters are either near useless, or broken and zergy. Because absolutely every other defense has been gutted so some how the stealth skill provides the best mitigation, outnumbered scaling and disengagement, whilst also giving offense.

Dot suppression, BS, its invisibility, not invincibility. AoEs are much more costly to use to break cloak, and they just go back in. (Its a fair scaling and skill based counter IMO, but it's in favor of cloak, add the extras and it becomes overtuned.) You can cloak whilst detect potted or in an AoE to force miss. Detect pots don't last long enough and got a range nerf. Mark is NB only. Both these should allow you to see and hit the cloaker, but not reveal them to others.

Invis, cloaking projectiles, crit, and the rest of the NB is fair game. 1 button wonder isn't.

Anything that broke it was fixed, anything that made other defenses (hell, even classes) comparable was nerfed. Other NB things have been fixed/buffed, shades, resolve, etc. (Fair. No one likes a broken class.) Other general changes like dodge counter changes (Again, mainly fair, a few things shouldn't be but eh.) allow some high synergy between roll/cloak. (MagNB is better, but it doesn't change the fact that compared to literally every other defense it is overtuned.)

I think invisibility is balanced. I don't think the added extras are, and I don't think the counters are balanced, sort of like shields it goes from very hard and not fair to counter, to completely useless. And ZOS never should have blanket fixed it to suppress dots. Its silly.

I think people forget that NBs are designed to be a slippery class. Their heals rely on successful kills which serves no purpose during a 1v1 fight. May as well be no heals if vigor isn’t unlocked or you are out of pots.

I mean Incap is kinda OP... That stun though. Should go back to the way it used to function: only stuns when your health is lower than your target's health.

arguing that Stam NBs aren't OP is a bit like arguing that stamdens weren't OP before the befoul changes that neutered their excessive healing.

i wonder if stam NBs will get nerfed in a similar and indirect manner.

Probably not. They'll probably get the DK / Sorc treatment.

I would say they have insane st dps too but that not so much they need to nerf them for pve but buff other classes dps to be at the same level. We all no that won't happen though. Remember when it was mdk only for pve and no one would run a nb complete 180 there.

A lot of changes people want would really not effect pve dps at all. I agree though these should be moved to the proper forum section
