I don't know the technical difficulties of implementing it but it just seems silly I can't see my bow and my daggers at the same time. Anyone else pretty bugged by this? Is there any explanation?

It would look pretty silly for tanks. 2 swords, 2 shields. I'm not even sure how they would display that aside putting the back bar shield in front. You could pretend you're a turtle maybe?
I like it in principle, but how does that work with 2 bows? or 4 1-handed weapons?

Yeah I get that'd be awkward with those combos. I guess I was meaning more with the combinations that make sense like sword and board plus staves. Two staves can work. 4 1 handed weapons would be pretty weird so keep it as it is. Just the option would be nice.

Agree.
And I also think it’s to inform player, which bar they have active. I use this as visual reminder. Even if I have dual staves, I try to make sure they have different looks.

Oh that's a good point.
I had a weird bug the other day where my warden was shown using daggers even if I actually had her staff selected and it kept on confusing me because the staff bar has completely different skills. I had to log out and back in to stop it happening because I kept hitting the wrong buttons.
But maybe if you'd selected an option to display both sets and were therefore expecting them all to show up it would be easier to adjust to it?

There's a reason that Samurai, Knights, and other warriors round the world wore the sword at their hip. Larger weapons were often draped over the shoulder or mounted by horse or were simply held in hand.
