Have you played Morrowind since buying it?
I feel the thing ZOS is going for here is making chapter content more accessible to new players, so instead of having to pay for multiple chapters as well as the game, you just need to buy the one, and then grab ESO plus and you have all the content in the game available.Lord and Savior of the Association of Serious S***posters.

Yes something you paid for is now free, the same as how some DLC we paid for go in discount a year later. If you want to pay less or not at all then wait a year for things, if you want to enjoy them when their fresh and out the gate pay full price.

All things get cheaper over time.
You pay for getting it early / at launch.
I'm not shocked by stuff I bought early being sold for cheaper or even given away for free later.
Even now I know I could save 15 euros (more or less) by waiting until august or september to get access to Summerset content. The thing is, I'm not actually willing to wait. I want to enjoy and discover that content at the same time as everyone else (especially my friends and guildmates). And I accept that it has a price.

✭some people just bought it, so the year thing is silly. There needs to be a cutoff date, but it still sucks for anyone that just missed it. Bummer to the guy that got the shot to the eggs.0
