More ability Bars? When?

With SS announcement today, you had me at Psijics and griffons. Stoked! My main thing though is as more and more dlcs come out, and more and more skills follow, when will we be able access a third skill bar. I’m not asking for WoW/EQ2 20+ skills available, but it’s starting to get annoying with the only 10(8) slots now. DLCs like TG and DB offered skill line passives, but adding more actual skills, maybe it’s time. Maybe even if it’s a non-combat skill bar or something. Somewhere to slot Rapid Maneuvers and other certain buffs. We don’t even know what they’re gonna be yet, but I’m pretty sure people will want to use some of them w/o sacrificing they’re loved playstyle/rotations. Food for thought. What’s everyone else think?

One thing that makes ESO unique is that you have to make choices around your build. You can't just use every skill you have whenever you want like in other MMOs.

Also, remember that this game is built around console as well. Console UI's have limits.

Well, ff14 manages to give me 8 bars with 16 skills each on my PS4.

I don't want a million skills on PC either. It takes the emphasis away from the action. ESO was built around a more action-oriented combat system, unlike slower MMOs like WoW and FFXIV.

Yeah, that’s kinda the crappy limitation atm. Idk, just have visions of the quick slot wheel for abilities. Like I said, even if it’s limited to out-of-combat only. Guess I hate that I’m addicted to the speed on rapid maneuvers and don’t wanna waste a slot anymore. :D

Dressing room will be more important. Maybe make it housing item?

How does that even work on a controller, modifier buttons? So X, LB+X, RB+X etc.?

Auto adds and then removes Rapid Maneuvers after it is cast from your bar (yes it re-adds it when it expires).

New bars.. unlikely. It would be nice for some emotes and fluff stuff and some other things, but they seem dead set on maintaining the current bar setup.

You activate a skill by R2 or L2 together with one of the 8 buttons (d-pad, square, x, triangle, circle) . You switch bars by R1 and one of those 8 buttons.

Interesting. Not sure I could keep up with the muscle memory for that. Thanks. :)

Keeping within the mechanics of the game, they could add a different type of quickslot item, or even just broaden what potions can do.
Really we do it without like, the musical instruments. This is the only musical: the mouth. And hopefully the brain attached to the mouth. Right? The brain, more important than the mouth, is the brain. The brain is much more important.

Works perfectly well after some time. You get used to it fast esp due to the long cooldowns you have enough time to react there. Not sure that would work here.

    it would be pretty simple

so you got for example a,x,y,b as its now you press R2 and you can map new skills on a,x,y,b there is plenty of games that use that

you could have allot more skills front bar A,X,Y,B , press R2 you get 4 more skills then change to off bar you got A,X,Y,B and r2 you got another A,X,Y,B
"By many i am seen as hero...as a savior of the Tamriel i will not stop until every Daedra every evil there is in Tamriel is vanquish by my hands..
However i do this for my own purpose to gain trust of mortals to worship me and to eliminate my competition i will not bend my knee to lead your army to serve you Molag Bal , i will simply just take it from you.."--- Forsaken Sin( Magica Sorc)

    Arise From Darkness Forsaken SIn
"You have been a loyal High Elf Magica Sorc
Conjure of Darkness, Master of Magic
Killer of Molag Bal and Savior of Ebonheart Pact
    Until Dark Brotherhood killed you...
but now..NOW its time to Arise From Darkness once again..."
