What kind of white knighting question is this? Here I will rephrase your question:
"Does a newly launched MMO need a functional, customer friendly website design which is easy to navigate, inviting, and holding vast amounts of easy to find, manipulate, and extrapolate data really an issue?"
Now answer your own question.
Well fine, everyone posting is showing that subjectively, that they think its a problem.

How is it in any way subjective. Please explain. Do you not agree that a product that has a website needs that website to function with its intended purpose of providing information to the consumer?
Case in point just look at the absurdly long ass column on the right hand of this very page. Count how many forums there are. Subjective my ass, stop white knighting.
I could not see find a suggestion area so this will probably do.
I feel that the layout of the forums would feel a bit cleaner if when you log in, you would have a layout similar to this
Forums -> Select Language (English) -> then the categories.
It will clean it up a bit as you will not need to see the other language forums
Or have an option in your profile to select which languages you wish to see.
