[Suggestion] Forum Layout

I could not see find a suggestion area so this will probably do.

I feel that the layout of the forums would feel a bit cleaner if when you log in, you would have a layout similar to this

Forums -> Select Language (English) -> then the categories.

It will clean it up a bit as you will not need to see the other language forums
Or have an option in your profile to select which languages you wish to see.

These forums are horrible, the way they are formatted. No offence to the German but I don't speak the language and just want english only threads.

Is this really an issue? I've seen about five threads on this in the last thirty minutes.

What kind of white knighting question is this? Here I will rephrase your question:

"Does a newly launched MMO need a functional, customer friendly website design which is easy to navigate, inviting, and holding vast amounts of easy to find, manipulate, and extrapolate data really an issue?"

    Now answer your own question.

Some what yes and no. For me personally it does not really matter but it just seems cleaner to have it organized by language.

For you as a consumer it should matter greatly whether or not you can find information regarding the product you are purchasing.

Do you go into a supermarket and buy milk without checking expiration dates too only to go meh the next day when you get a mouthful of spoiled milk?

Consumers have a responsibility among themselves to not accept poor service and poor product quality. This website is actually part of the product we as subscribers are paying for.

    All subjective

Well fine, everyone posting is showing that subjectively, that they think its a problem.

You are putting words in my mouth. All I am saying is that there are bigger issues at hand. The forums as they stand are capable and a little confusing but still useful.

How is it in any way subjective. Please explain. Do you not agree that a product that has a website needs that website to function with its intended purpose of providing information to the consumer?

Case in point just look at the absurdly long ass column on the right hand of this very page. Count how many forums there are. Subjective my ass, stop white knighting.

It is functioning. Are you not able to respond and comment your questions? It is not aesthetically pleasing but it is still functional. You are grossly overstating this websites problems because they are apparently not pleasing to your eye.

No it doesn't function, at all. Functionality does not just mean it loads up and assaults the consumer with this garbage. Function means it needs to do what it is supposed to do, bring information to the consumer. There isn't even a BUG forum to report bugs. So everyone is in the customer support forum flooding the front page with things like broken quests.

This website is far from "functioning".

Definitely not a user friendly, nor well organized design. I hope they improve it. All the fan forums out there are probably happy though because most will not use this in it's present form. I'm not usually a complainer, but this is pretty hard on my eyes, sifting through multiple language posts, and no real General Discussion forum (unless I missed it, which should say something right there if I did).
