I just found out that you can get dismounted when riding because of too high jumps etc. Might be part of the game and you need to upgrade your horse? But by just jumping sound a bit to hard core, but might be so?:
Riding on flat ground, jump, 90% of the time I fall off my horse. I can jump my horse off buildings or whatnot with no big deal, generally won't fall off. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to the random dismounts.
Me too. Annoying, unless it's a feature (for riding experience) in which case it's a nice idea, terribly implemented.

I see this when going down stairs specifically. You can jump off a cliff and stay mounted, so it feels like a stairs flag issue (no mount zone flag set maybe on 1-2 of the steps?)

Test this if you drop from the horse if you are entering a city town cave acc that is done by designee if you drop in open area then it's a bug
