Blue points are pretty tight already, given that every magicka build wants 75 in thaum for Exploiter.

Also keep in mind that damage done buffs are additive with one another, so for instance a DK using Molten Armaments will increase their damage by a smaller percentage than others because he's already at 140% light attack damage. 35% thus becomes an actual LA/HA buff of 25%, and it only buffs 20% of your attack's damage anyway, so it's really just a 5% buff to damage done. Thauma, Mighty, Master at Arms, and Piercing will all likely yield twice as much, and precise strikes should produce a bit more as well.
Honestly, the damage shield one might well be more globally useful than buffing light attacks and heavies. Blazing-shielded-Purging-breath-of-life-spamming Stamplars, Metronomic Six Second Sorc Shield Stackers, Ice Ring Wearing Ice Reflecting Wardens, and Heal-buffing-baby-damage-shielded DKs all will feel the wrath. Basically it's a buff against all "Not Nightblades" and "Not Potatos".
Exploiter doesnt make much sense anymore for most magicka classes, since uptime of offbalance on bosses is 25% at max...
So you wont put 75 in thaum for merely 2.5% damage increase.

Not just a 2.5% boost though really.
Need to consider if the extra %age boost to your dots by staying at 75 or 81 is worth speccing more into say elfborn or master at arms if you drop thaumaturge down.
