    he is probably saying that geforce experience is creating the problems, not shadowplay.

    pardon me for being "that guy", but you don't buy nvidia for shadowplay. It comes as part of the GPU you buy from Nvidia. If you are buying a several hundred dollar GPU just for shadowplay, you should check out Fraps.

    I remember countless friends buying a 970 over 390 because they wanted to be able to record their games. And point of shadowplay is the ability to record the past, You don't use it just for the normal recording feature.

    For normal recordings and streams OBS is king, part of the reason is that using CPU rendering is A LOT more effective than GPU. maybe not on the performance level but for quality it is.

    must be a just you thing, I have never had issues with shadow play. Streaming, highlights, last 15 minutes of gameplay, all gameplay, never had an issue :)

    In general I have tons of broken recordings caused by shadowplay randomly deciding to screw up, and OBS is just plain better at streaming. Maybe you're not using it enough to notice it.

    Lately all my friends are having same kind of issues with it.

    Shadowplay is amazing. I use it almost daily and have no problems with it.

    Not to mention that nobody should buy nvidia for shadowplay but for the fact that nvidia is the superior video card to all the other cheap variants.

    I do have the occasional problem where Shadowplay simply doesn't start when I launch the game. But I usually notice the little symbol is missing and restart.

    Can we please not derail this subject. I have serious issue with DBoS not working properly.

    Dude your DBoS ani cancel macro is too tight. I have never had problems with DBoS!

    I get that too sometimes, and I restart as well. Really no reason to sweat over it tbf.

    Shadowplay is not a program, it is a feature.

    It is a known bug that GeForce experience causes graphics card issues in gaming laptops.
