DBoS Down The Ult Drain

What is up with this ult? I have more DBoS' drain with no effect than any other ult except for maybe dragon leap when I used to play dk. Last night alone I had a minimum of 5 times where my ultimate drained with no effect and thats not counting the times the delay on it could be measured in seconds. So far Ive had DBoS drain with no effect after being feared, javelined and dragon leaped. Ive seen it happen to friends, and Ive seen it happen on streams. Free crown crates are all well and good but Id really rather they do a legit maintenance. Can you guys at ZOS please look into this?

yet we see nobody using it over dbos/leap/potl.
Guess what, being cost-effective+reliability of an undodgeable aoe ult, beats 2h ult %99 of the time.

del9✭✭✭✭I've learned to just hold my DboS when I am within a few meters of a wall or vertical terrain. I can almost replicate a drain event at will by pointing it at a tree in Cyro or pillar in BGs while in motion. Very dissapointPCNA0

Yup. Most people don't realize, it grants 8 seconds of snare, root and hard CC immunity after casting.

I personally prefer the reset morph in PvP, as it has the potential to be ridicilous on a stamDk via battle roar.
But in the reality of things people tend to block-dodge a lot more when they are low hp, so the reset mechanic just never works like you want it to.
If the one of the morphs had reduced cost I would gladly use it.0 -

Also hit a magsorc for %70 of his hp with it. I guess it isn't so bad when you have like 5k weapon damage.

must be a just you thing, I have never had issues with shadow play. Streaming, highlights, last 15 minutes of gameplay, all gameplay, never had an issue

Stamplar vs StamDK sounds like they are fighting for the bottom tier slot for stam builds. Lol.
And yes, I can confirm that this happens on vertical slopes, staircases, and sometimes even on flat plains. Ult is consumed and then there's no ult firing off. This is getting more annoying and this happens more on Dawnbreaker than any other ults.Imperials, the one and true masters of all mortal races of Tamriel1 -

I actually use it everyday Have been since it first got released. I'm not saying what you are saying isn't true, I'm just relaying that I have never had an issue with it unless nvidia screwed something up, and when they did they quickly fixed it and it went back to working amazingly well for me. 1 -

honestly the only reason I went with nvidia was because amd didn't had anything to offer for the same price range at that time. Before my gtx 1070 , I used an r9 290 and was very pleased with the performance. Amd's new vega line up is a complete failure in my eyes, and I'm glad I didn't wait so long and just got a 1070.

AMD really needs to come up with something good next season. Nvidia is dominating so hard right now, they're really pushing AMD into irrelevance imo. Not to mention the interface and how nvidia cards interact with the user. AMD is in a fine spot for sales, thanks to their mining performance, and eastern market demand for cheaper cards. The cards sell so well I remember my friends not being able to find vega cards to purchase, and same story was the case for their 500 series(which is just polaris rebrand anyways)
That being said It makes 2x more sense to get an nvidia for a regular gamer. AMD cards are pretty much non-existant at the moment and prices are skyrocketing because of it. When this mining craze is over amd needs to step up their game.Edited by Ragnarock41 on March 15, 2018 10:27PM0 -

✭✭✭✭✭Shadowplay is a part of the GeForce experience... that stupid program will shut off my laptop’s graphics card every time I alt tab, ruining my frame rate when I tab back in due to not reallocating the lost voltage properly.

Yeah its unbelievably difficult to go into settings in GeForce experience and slide that bar to the left and disable shadowplay. Not sure how anyone can handle it, took me a full team of guys to get done.
