Sorc, templar, and nightblade are all pretty rare for tanking tbh. Nightblade tanks used to be more common before the sap tank build was nerfed. I've seen a few templar tanks but none were all that good. I've only seen one other sorc tank (besides my own), but he was decent.
Of the three I think only sorc tanks are really viable still for trials, and its still much more difficult than tanking on a warden or dragon knight.

What do you think is that hinders them the most. Also what makes you say sorc is the only viable for end game vet trials?

DK
But to be honest I've seen NB tanks, templar tanks and of course warden tanks. But I think I've never seen a sorc tank anywhere. They are probably the rarest class/role combination, somewhere around DK healers.

Having a char that can both heal and tank means that you can have 3 dps in the group for normal dungeons and some vet.
I am currently levelling up a sorcerer, which I am using as a tank at the moment. The ability to stun and hold is useful, but I do miss the templar heals.

Have you tried clanfear or twlight? How do they feel towards you.

Yes I do use the clanfear thanks. I understand that the clanfear is for tanks and the twilight is for other roles. The downside is that the clanfear doesn't heal other group members. I guess that I am too used to breath of life.
