My viewpoint is nuanced and I suspect so is the viewpoint of others considering none of the votes are displayed next to responders. I believe more life should be pumped into Cyrodiil but I also believe the best way to do this is to add to what is already there. Towns should be more meaningful in what they provide. I would love to see NPC troops heading through towns and various garrisons (Brindle, Warden, Dragonclaw, you name it). These extra troops could add to the strength of a castle/keep/fort. Players could kill those along way or defend them along the way. This is just one idea I have had. The towns should have a more meaningful purpose on the map, giving the owners greater control on the region and weakening the defenses of surrounding keeps by cutting off supplies. After four years, yes it's time for another persistent medium-to-large scale PvP area with objectives and total scores.
What I'd like to see is that new map having two versions:
1) Open to everyone with about 60% population caps of the current Cyro pop caps, with max group size of 12
AND
2) Customizable persistent instances of the new map with:
2 or 3 sides, customizable maximum pop caps ranging from 4 to 100
possibility to choose either dynamic or static pop caps
customizable pool of people who can enter this map: specific people, guilds, and blocking certain people or guilds, and whether unlisted people can also join the campaign
customizable duration: 6 hours to 1 month
customizable maximum group size: no group, 4-24
option to choose between No CP and CP

They should add proper battlegrounds I think. Not 3 sides fighting each other, but 2, I mean there wasn't even a good reason to have 3 sides in the BGs to begin with, since they are disconnected from the alliance war, and the 4v4v4 concept is just really limiting. If they added 12v12 and fleshed out the maps a lot more, they could make something actually good. A huge open world pvp zone would be a bad idea though, Cyrodiil is already a shining example of why that's the case.
