Ads "up to" 802 magicka to your armor. but when I enhance I only get 324 max magicka, can someone elaborate. my stamina and magicka dropped significantly
vca0Qd.jpg

My legs have a max 802 max stamina glyph, but when I tried to add that same glyph to my waist and feet, I only got max 324, How to I get that armor enhancement to give me that 802 stamina I was looking for?

Also........
I got bored with my CP 380 character and started a new one, learning mechanics and stuff, Once I was at level 38 I had my CP 380 character make my level 38 character a hundings rage set, this brought my weapon damage to over 2800 with all divine traits wearing sword-swingers jewelry. When I reached level 41, without changing anything other then higher level sword-swinger jewelry, my weapon damage dropped by 300+. Have no idea why. Now I reached level 50, I made CP 160 Hunding's rage set, and changed my jewelry to Agility set, well, EVERYTHING dropped, my stamina, my magicka, my weapon damage. I added armor glyphs to increase my mag, stam, but weapon damage is only at 2500. Trying to figure how to raise my stam back to where I had it, which was 20 000, 2700 less then what it is now. AND, my weapon damage back to 2887.

There are big and small pieces when it comes to armour . Big pieces are Chest , Legs , Head and Shields ; small pieces are Shoulders , Hands , Belts and Feet . Small pieces will have reduced effect from glyphs while big pieces have full .

There is something called Battle Scaling in this game . It basically buffs low level characters to make them on par with high level characters . You will have higher stats overall but you will be lacking skills and such while a high level character will have lower stats but have access to all skills they want . Battle Scaling gets less and less effective as your level increases .

Hope these answer you questions .

Also if you use infused trait on the large piece it will bump up your glyph a little more

Yep, battle scaling and the difference between big and small armor pieces are your issues. Head, chest, legs, and shield are big pieces, everything else is small. Only big pieces get the full value. This is not an issue with weapon or jewelry glyphs.

This is why a lot of builds run the infused trait on big pieces, as its more powerful there. Also, in case you werent aware, you can put gold enchants on purple gear (including jewelry and weapons) and get the full benefit of the gold enchant. It's the poor mans way to gold out your gear, as Kuta is very cheap.

As to the battle scaling or whatever its called, an easy way to think of it is that they the bigger the gap between your character level and your gear level, the less powerful you will become. When I level a new toon, I usually swap gear about every 10 levels on the zeros (10, 20, 30, etc). If you do it that way, you will be far more powerful at level 20 than at level 29 for example, at least from a stat perspective (the level 29 prob has more skills available). Once you break 160 CP and have CP 160 gear, this is no longer an issue.

You can totally do that, but I've found I can use level 10 purple training armor all the way to 50. I make new training weapons when I feel like they are too weak, usually around level 35ish.

Oh, its definitely overkill. I have 5 sets of purple gear each for both stam and magic at low levels, all in training. I made them a long time ago, and have more mats than I know what to do with. To me, it's a sunk cost at this point. It also feels nice to get a little boost every few hours. I really wish ZOS would stop giving us more character slots so I could decon these things already. haha.

Enchants have 40% effectiveness on small pieces of gear (shoulders, hands, belt, feet), which is why infused on these pieces tends to be a bad idea.

That is also why 2 Infused big pieces with Tri-Glyphs is so nice, you are getting 3 enchants for the price of 2 slots.
