I think, cloak surpressing DoTs and forcing single target skills to miss has more technical reasons than balance purposes, because as it is coded right now, everything that deals dmg to a cloaked nb will break cloak and if it wouldn't break cloak then the dmg numbers from ticking DoTs would still give the nbs position away. It would need a complete ovethaul and we all know what tends to happen when ZOS messes with the game ...

Wrong.
DoTs on me while invisible from invis pot show "MISS" very clearly, but do not break invisibility.

No. It's a terrible point. It gets me killed by zergs!

I don’t think they show where you are, they just show where you were.

Nope, they show exact position of the cloaked NB
I think if the NB reapplies cloak then it will move to the location the NB reapplies cloak at.I think, cloak surpressing DoTs and forcing single target skills to miss has more technical reasons than balance purposes, because as it is coded right now, everything that deals dmg to a cloaked nb will break cloak and if it wouldn't break cloak then the dmg numbers from ticking DoTs would still give the nbs position away. @Lexxypwns said it best. The natural predator to a nightblade is another nightblade. piercing mark is devastating imho.
I love that moment when the NB starts to panic because he’s lacking adequate defense besides cloak, its palpable.
There’s nothing I enjoy more than seeing a bunch of stamblades in a BG, that’s when it’s time to do work

those counter plays were destroying everything else.
NB is, and was always an overtuned class. Ridicilous things like SA or power lash, cliff racer kept them in check.

At least we had counter plays.

as a solo stamDK, playing in no-cp I never had counterplay.
Its the same thing for the last few months for me. But I got laughed at for saying nb is not a weak class.
Now its funny to see the same people playing nb themselves, or crying for nerfs.
