Character stuck in Cyrodiil

I just lagged out in Cyrodiil and can't log back into that character (says cannot connect to server). Everything froze, character started moving at 100 km/h, and using abilities would make the siege firing sound. Then I got kicked to login.
Is contacting support my only recourse or will Cyrodiil eventually kick that character, allowing me to log back in?

hopefully you have another character to play on...PVP Campaigns Section: Playstation NA and EU (Gray Host) - This Must be the Place0 -

✭On ps4, one thing that used to work was
Once kicked>
do a hard reset>
Log on to a different character (just for a minute or two) then log off>
Re log onto original character.
(General works)
If i have to do this twice, i rage out of cyrodiil
If it happens in overland pve as well, rage out of game2
