it seems impossible for a dps character to get their pledges done, normal or veteran. pugging treats you to a 5 hour long wait, which no one in their right mind is going to bother with, and asking in zone and guild chats is generaly met with silence. How do you get these damn things done on a regular basis? is
Make a tank
It could be worth trying to get a regular group of friends or players in a similar situation together for these if you main a DPS.
Have you tried joining a PvE/Dailies focused guild? There are quite a few guilds who have no commitment requirements and just serve as a place to set up pre-made dailies groups. It could be worth trying to get a regular group of friends or players in a similar situation together for these if you main a DPS.
My friends seem to all end up being people who dont care about pledges or spend all their time making new characters and never see 50. I feel like the only one who is remotely interested in endgame, but unfortunately those people who just RP and dont care about endgame tend to be the nicest and most friend worthy in my experience. I wish I knew more people who were interested in everything a game had to offer like me.

Check out the guild forums section for your format/server. You can either browse for one or make a thread looking for one.Have you tried joining a PvE/Dailies focused guild? Where can I get an invite to one of these guilds? I have one open guild slot right now.
A friend of mine tanks and I heal. We have been trying to build up our friends list with dps that want to run the DLC dungeons and get all the achievements on.
We do have the good fortune of being able to pop a dungeon queue and nearly always get an immediate pop with two dps. Sometimes they are horrid and we have to do a carry, but once in awhile we end up with on point DPS that we can friend at the end to run with in the future.
Our only downside is that we run 5am eastern to around 10am eastern on PC NA servers, so sometimes pretty slim pickings. If you are on our server and run at our times, feel free to look me up in game or send me a message mail. My at name is the same as my forum handle.
We wouldn't need dual spec if people played it as a social game and actively looked for and joined guilds where they can make new friends to do content with.Sabbathius wrote: »I said it before, and I'll say it again...
THIS GAME NEEDS DUAL SPECIALIZATION!
Me, I don't mind tanking. But I also need to DPS on my main, for things like vMA, quick shard farming, PvP, etc. I can't be tank 24/7, because tanks are only good for one thing. Give the the ability to quickly swap from tank to DPS or to heal, and I'll fill those roles, and speed up the queue.
But nooooo, that's too sensible for ZOS to do. They'd rather waste time on the outfit system, and meanwhile people are dealing with insanely long queues, fake tanks/healers (people who try to game the queue, because it is unreasonably long), etc.

However everyone wants to be "solo" but also do "group" content.
