I point you to the Dev comment above your own. They have issues, ongoing issues - Don’t pretend they don’t. Making a tongue-in-cheek comment highlighting that fact isn’t exactly a personal attack on their family or an insult to their honor.

you really need to get someone to start proof reading the patch notes, this is happening with increasing frequency
We do the best we can, but agree that there have been an increased number of missing items lately. We're discussing how we can better improve the process.
I would personally suggest circulating the patch notes around as a quick memo. If everyone took around three minutes to look over the sections they are directly involved in and double check wording and make sure things they worked on are correct, it might help?
It could at least help clear up issues that are vague and reduce the chances of missing details.
