When leveling up a new character what will happen when the new crates come out? Will we still get Flame Atro crates or will we get whatever crate is in season? For example 2 weeks from now will we get Scalecaller provided we never got the rewards before?

They do not state that you get Atronach Crown Crates in the postr relating to the update, as such I have no doubt that it will change with the season. I hardly think it likely flame atronach crates will still be given out next year.

Any thoughts on the idea of occasionally running long form leveling events, where you can create an event themed character on a new slot, and run them through for new crates and other goodies?3 -

I don't know, I got the Full Akiviri motif from my Level 50 crate.
I'm not a fan of much of what is in the crates. Don't care for flaming critters and the overall "theme".

Sucks that both my wife and I have been waiting to level our new characters together just in case the crates from leveling would be changing with the new season. We have most everything from the Flame Atronach Crown Crates. Not complaining or being greedy but it would have been nice to know more than a few days before the new crates are released. Especially since people have been asking on the forums since the level up rewards started.
Also it doesn't make much sense to not change them now if ZOS is planning on ever changing them to the current season as that may be something that could cause an uproar on the forums.9 -

yes. this especially the part about letting us know from the start since we WERE asking for a while. I wouldn't have waiting to level a few alts if i had known.
I know its on my that I expected and assumed differently, its just i guess from playing various games for a while, I thought the coding would be based off the running season rather then specific crates... but at least if we had been told different in advance, it would have been easier.dirty worthless casual.

Is it because you guys cannot be bothered to update them?
Or is it because you guys just spend all day every day trying to think of ways to annoy your player base?
And why wait so long to tell us? you KNOW people were waiting. But you don't care?
Micromanaging is another reason ESO will be a relic when the next batch of new MMO's come out. Combine that with the absolutely disgraceful state of PvP, the atrocious level scaling that makes the entire world so easy a 5-year-old could complete it and the absolute, LONGEST loading screens I have ever experienced in any MMO, ever, and I have been playing MMO's for over 15 years.
Seriously, the loading screens and lag this game has in 2018, you guys should be outright ashamed of yourselves not just as developers, but as people. IT IS DISGUSTING.
