My dps is really low *stamsorc*

I'm using a cp 299 stam sorc. My dps is 10k to 12k which is really low (I'm expecting 20k).

My gear is divines hunding rage and weapon power agility. And my bar is the same as alcast but I'm using the dw dot and surge because I don't have fighters guild or bow leveled yet. I'm using 2 stolen cp 140 daggers (I think this is why) because I have yet to find a 160 one handed drop.

I weave and such. So why Is my dps so low?

Well the 140 daggers are part of the problem. Also DW dot and surge should still be used even when you have other skill lines leveled. You need 160 daggers and try to get them to at least purple. I can craft some stuff for you and help you farm for another set of gear to pair with your hundings if you are on Xbox NA. With a Stamsorc your best build option is to pair your hundings with another dropped set and then have a 2-piece monster set on your head/shoulders. A set like spriggans would be good to start out with if you don't have any trials gear and it drops in Bangkorai so you can farm it yourself or buy from traders.

If i were too swap out for 160 purple daggers, get poisen injection, and get spriggans, how much of a difference would my dps be?

So you are currently 5 piece hundings and 3 piece agility?

If you got real daggers and got 5 piece hundings and 5 piece spriggans and had all of the correct abilities you DPS should shoot up a lot. If you can do vet dungeons and can add a mosnter set you will add even more. Fungal Grotto 1 drops a monster helmet that is very solid for stamina DPS and it is the easiest vet dugneon in the game. I would try and run that and get a Krag'ah helmet and then use keys to get an accompanying shoulder piece from the undaunted chest. Once you feel a bit more comfortable you can try and get the stormfist set which i love on my stamsorc. That would be a strong build for your stamsorc without any trial gear. Agility is a strong set but as a stamina user with dual wield you can achieve 5-5-2 so that is what you should be going for.

    Big.

You need on the back bar:
Endless Hail (Bow) - Poison Injection (Bow) - Rearming Trap (Fighters Guild) - Razor Caltrops (Support)

This is standard stamina DD setup among all classes. You'll have to grind a bit in Cyrodiil for Caltrops but it's actually very easy.

As Sorcerer you also have Bound Armaments on both bars, I guess.

For gear, you really need Strength of the Automaton. It involves grinding, but Darkshade Caverns dungeon is one of the easier and I talk about veteran version. For started, even blue jewelry from normal dungeon is all right until you have more CPs.
Every other set is your personal choice depending of various factors but Automaton is a must as Sorcerer damage is all physical except Poison Injection.
Aldmeri Dominion (PC EU via Steam)

The cowardly Wood Elves are best noted for their unwillingness to engage in a face-to-face attack; a Bosmer will strike at you from every side except the front. You won't cross swords with a Bosmer, but you might catch an arrow in the throat. Be wary in forests and jungles, and watch your back.

140 daggers are the obvious first step.

Just getting 160 daggers purple or gold will be a big increase. Yuge.

Agree with half of that. You are currently playing with an incomplete build, so its not surprising your damage is very low. Until you get both your DW and Bow to 50 (balista is a strong ulti, and Hail is your best damage skill), and level fighters guild (dawnbreaker/trap) and alliance rank (caltrops), you are going to struggle to pull good damage.

The automaton bit is just plain false. It is the best raw damage set for a stam sorc, so certainly you can work on it, but as priorities go, that is very low. Plenty of good substitutes, and the only people that are going to notice the difference between say Automaton and Hundings rage are people that are pulling a LOT of DPS. I have every set imaginable, and the only time I run Automatons is when I am in a 12 man trial group and asked to go full damage. I almost never run it in 4 man content.

Rotation is always more important than gear, and rotation requires having skills at your disposal.

As to gear, I think the best way to setup your gear is to pair a damage set with a penetration set and then throw in a monster set.

Viable Damage Set's: Hundings, Automaton, Vicious Ophidian, Briarheart, (there are certainly others).
Penetration sets: Spriggans, Nightmothers, Sunderflame, Alkosh, TFS (some are selfish, TFS and spriggans, some give group pen, the other three).
Monster sets: Velidreth, Stormfist, Kraghs , Selenes. I personally like Stormfist. The only one thats tough to get is velidreth.

Dont worry about gear until your bars and rotation are in order. Most important thing for gear is gold CP 160 weapons, but purple can get you over 20k.

A super cheap way to setup a gear out of the gate is a combo of spriggans (buy/farm) and hundings (crafted). Purple spriggan jewelry and 2 armor pieces just isnt that expensive (you could even go blue on the jewelry). You can then make hundings daggers in CP 160, and farm the helm and shoulder.

If you want to go even easier, dont have any monster sets, and want to stick to your agility jewelry (which is actually pretty strong), Use your hundings armor you already made and fill in the gaps with 4 pieces of Nightmother. Giving 5 hundings, 3 agility, 4 NM. At some point, you will probably want some NM weapons anyway. You can easily break 20k with that setup assuming your rotation/skills are in order. Your stats will be good, but your pen will be a touch low. You can compensate in the meantime with CP and the Lover mundus stone.

I can help you this weekend on PS4 NA. I regularly use a stam sorc.

My psn is the same as my name here. Add me and i'll be around this weekend to give you some pointers and help you with gear. It's always easier to learn when you have someone actually show you... watching videos only goes so far.

The weapons have the biggest effect on dps.

Get two 160cp weapons and gold them out. I'd probably go with hundings rage ones because the weapons are almost always the most expensive part of a build (and hardest to grind).

I am not sure what is good for Stamsorcs for a second set, maybe Briarheart?? Just need a set you can buy in stores, although probably not cheaply.

Your DPS is low because you’re not at endgame yet and your gear isn’t right. Welcome to the grind!

Automaton is great set for StamSorc. Comes from Darkshade I think.
