    i don't think it's that horrible damage-wise?

I think it just doesnt fit in on a sorceror, they're already completely focused on physical damage and there's very little bar space for acid spray with having to double-bar bound armaments.

I would definitely use acid spray on a poison dragon knight build though.

I could actually see a bow/bow DK working pretty well, given how their rotation is set up.

I guess your CP distrubution and/or gear is cause of it.

This is basic damage of Acid Spray:
Fire a burst of arrows in one shot, dealing 1319 Poison Damage to enemies in front of you. Also reduces enemies' Movement Speed by 40% and deals an additional [1315 / 1334 / 1355 / 1376] Poison Damage over 6 seconds.

Now basic damage of Poison Injection:
Shoot an arrow coated in Baandari poison at an enemy, dealing 1167 Poison Damage and an additional [2188 / 2203 / 2223 / 2245] Poison Damage over 10 seconds. The damage over time deals up to [200 / 220 / 240 / 260]% more damage to enemies under 50% Health.
And because it's execute it does way more damage after enemy's health is below 50%.

At my Nightblade, PI DoT does almost twice damage over AS DoT and that is even before execution phase.

Then look at the cost: 4050 vs 2430 stamina.

Acid Spray is only used by bow/bow players like me, and it's noot good always. It's great ability for farming dolmens and public dungeons. Usage in normal non-DLC group dungeons is ok, and in my experience almost useless in veteran one.

The cowardly Wood Elves are best noted for their unwillingness to engage in a face-to-face attack; a Bosmer will strike at you from every side except the front. You won't cross swords with a Bosmer, but you might catch an arrow in the throat. Be wary in forests and jungles, and watch your back.

Yes, with obligatory The Morag Tong set.
And as I typed, bow/bow players use it.

Yea I thought about trying that setup, but I'm not sure I feel like leveling another DK at the moment and mine is staying a tank lol.

Bow/Bow with sheer venom, mephala, and morag tong (sheer venom on back bar, morag tong on front bar, should be easy enough to work out with the rotation).

Sheer Venom is PVP set. It's disgustingly OP with proper combo (sniper NB gank build). It's really not worth in PvE.

Spawn of Mephala + The Morag Tong + Hunding's Rage / Night Mother's Gaze / whatever proper stamina set is much better.

Anyway, how much your crows crit? Last night I did major overhaul of my NB build, and they crit for almost 10k!
Of course not always, it was buffed in group dungeon :).

Morag Tong is valuable if you have 2 or more Stamina DKs in group, so one of them should wear it. Usually support sets are spread between group members: one has Sunderflame (usually one DK since it heavy attacks a lot), one has NMG (usually the stamina sorcerer, because Hurricane can debuff a lot of enemies), one has Morag Tong (the 2nd DK) and one has War Machine (either NB or Templar). Of course a Stamina Sorcerer can have both NMG and Sunderflame, because it does a lot of heavy attacks too, and you can bring more people with War Machine for better Major Slayer up time.

From what I've heard poison injection procs sheer venom even if the enemy is at 100% health, which is why I threw that set into the build.

Crows are critting around 8-9k I think with minor force up. Pretty decent.
