ressing dead players need a toombstone to spot them

    As with so many other issues in the game, the answer is to use an addon. :) I use Dryzler's Better Rezzing myself. I agree, it would be very nice if this was something better incorporated into the base game, but nonetheless, a solution is right at your fingertips.

    EDIT: Unless you aren't playing on PC. In which case, I am sorry for you. I would never play a Bethesda game without mods lol.

    A tombstone with a number saying how many times they've died in the fight.

    I play on a console. Sadly.

    More & more I think those that play on consoles without all the add ons are probably the better (!?) players as they have to it without any help whatsoever ;p

    I get the feeling people have forgotten to look for that dedicated dead player icon that floats above their body.

    I'll add my "yes, please" to this. Addons don't always get updated / do what you'd hope, and while I'm poking around at some of the suggestions on this forum, something built-in would be nice. Maybe add a pulse you can do by pressing a key while dead?

    Rez has always been this way, sometimes its VERY hard to get a lock on a corpse thats clearly right in front of you. Some adjustments and fixes to the way it works would actually be a very very good thing.

    I don't so much mind the lack of visual cueing, but the hitbox for using a soul gem is WAY too tiny.

    This actually sounds pretty easy to implement. All they gotta do is add a customization portion to the already existing system. Should be easy, if the Alliance/Team indicators are any indication.

    Can tell the new forum goers/employees here. Yeah that is a great idea! Some way to see players so we can revive them easier. Never seen that one before. Next we will be told it is a great idea for a search function for the auction houses and capes are an new and exciting idea.

    I just turn chat bubble up and ask people to yelll "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" when they're down.

    Ok... or I’m mostly just grumpy. I really shouldn’t be. Any attention or response to an issue is great. For some reason I just find it annoying because for some time now this has been an issue. I can’t recall which patch it was that it seem to get much worse, and right after there were several post about it. And since then post about it pop up from time to time. And now we get a response like oh this is a good idea thanks!

    It is like some of those bug post that go months without a response. People explaining what is happening in detailed post. Then one day some one makes a post about it again and some from Zos responds when does this happen and do you have any details? I mean it is great someone responded but at the same time you want to scream.

    Anyway. Like I said. Grumpy.

    I really hope you guys can get something like this done. Just last week I was in a dungeon where someone died twice and both times it took me WAY too long to find the body.

    I find chat bubbles to be far too distracting. A simple visual indicator like a tombstone or even just a compass marker would be fine.

    I think an easy fix to this would be to allow color customization of the current marker and have a slider toggle to increase the size of the current marker.
    For those that want it more visible they can do it or keep as is if not. It is very easy to over look the small white marker.

    Yeah? And I personally never have a difficult time seeing them, even in situations of densely packed particle effects.

    Then again, I make an effort to keep track of my group at all times. Call it a forced habit after being a Healer for so long.

    For me at least it is not that I don;t look, it's that it doesn't stand out enough.
    I would be happy if the icon was simply enlarged, and the player's Class icon was displayed.

    This would help in trials to determine easily who should be ressurected first.

    I agree that it would be helpful if it was easier to see dead bodies, especially when they have run off somewhere secluded to die.

    'I'm dying... I must run away from heals immediately' LOL :D:D

    I also think it would be helpful to see their role rather than their class so you can quickly and easily decide whether to res the tank or the healer first etc.
