ressing dead players need a toombstone to spot them

last night in daily pledges dungeons was in white tower , after runniing around like a headless chicken trying to stay alive .finding it awkard to see/spot the dead players to res , what with the graphics , explosions , blinding flashes , pets , familars , etc

is there a way to help spotting them sooner please advise if there is have turned down the settings , is there more i can do not sure what ,any help be most welcome .

perhaps eso could have a new mechanic like when dead you get a toombstone , so we all can spot them sooner and some kind of sounds when they die like the last post .perhaps with thier name as well on the toomstone , even get to decide what type of toombstone .

I'm not sure about a Tombstone, but yes their needs to be something more than just the icon that floats in there air or whatever. Normally it's fine, but there are some fights you just can't see that mark.

Seems we are speaking of PvE. Simple solution is seeing chat bubbles and they type some Xs. Works for me.

Not suggesting more could not be done.

idk when i first played i used to pvp , since coming back i just do pve for now never did complete the game and all the maps . do think there can be something done would like the toombsone , even a pennant, flag pole with a design of my choosing .

Khajiit would like to request that, should this idea ever be implemented, that she not just receive a humble tombstone no.

This one would like a marble statue of herself poised gracefully with a delicious dove on each outstretched upper paw. The face should look mournfully skywards and at the base there should be weeping kittens. The lower paws should rest on a bed of delicately carved flowers.

I dont use chat bubbles and sometimes when people die in dungeons/trials the icon doesnt display properly, so it can be VERY hard to find their corpse (not to mention all the terrain glitches that happen where most of the corpse is hidden under the ground).

Would definitely like to see some kind of graphic effect to help locate dead players. Maybe show a little image of their soul floating above their body, in a different color than the usual self-revive soul (Which is bluish/white, maybe make it red or something).

I wish we had ghosts like old UO. Even if they were tethered to their corpse and could only say OOOoooOOO to get our attention

Im laughing so hard at the image of EP wiping on the bridge, or vice versa and tomb stones popping up everywhere. Could we customize our tombstones too? SAY YES!!!!

Perhaps if they could make a range of memorial signs available in the store yes then suddenly they may find this idea much more interesting perhaps?

Its not that hard, its rare that I cant find someone who has died, just a bit of situational awareness required.

I use that helps a lot, also installed after WGT, both DD managed to die and I and tank had to finish it, only normal but very annoying. problem is that you risk getting turned into ash in that fight making it very hard to see you.
Some other fights has lots of vegetation and is dark, also people manages to die the weirdest places.

I'm kind of glad I'm not the only person with this problem. Like I am the literal worst at rezzing people. Then anymore games overwhelm me with the amount of visual stimuli and the speed of it all. Am I just getting old or something?

Something akin to this would be brilliant. I hate looking around for the dead guy - it gets crazy and all sorts of pressury. My son and I were trying to duo some of the early dungeons and if one of you goes down a rez needs to happen quick, at least for us.

When there is a lot of ground AoE going on it is impossible to see a dead player. I like the idea of a Tombstone type marker.

I waste a lot of time trying to find the person who needs to be rezzed. Some kind of indicator is needed. Of course, this needs to be a toggle.

Agreed, in PvP too...I seem to die in the corner a lot, hiding there to avoid oil pots or whatever. And if I die, half the body is in the wall, hard to spot.

I agree I struggle to see players in cyrodiil sometimes especially if there is a zerg! maybe a light floating above the corpse or something? would be great in dungeons

The floating marker needs to be way bigger for PvE dungeons. That's happened to me, too. I noticed there was a dead player and was running around looking for them to rez them, and couldn't find them.

Gods yes please. It's so frustrating in dungeons / trials - trying to make out through all the flashes and colours and light effects where is the pile of ash that represents some fallen comrade so you can rez them without dying yourself whilst they are telling you in group chat that they are behind the pillar to the left. No the other left. And you just cant see a damn thing but you know as dps its your role to rez but it's taking you so long to find them and thats time you're not doing any damage and you finally find them and fumble over the button (which never seems to work easily on ps4) when someone else comes in and does it easily and you end up feeling stupid.

So please. Please. Please make it easier to see dead people!
