Controller Issues

So when I am in combat I have a reoccurring issue where my x-box controller seems to lose connection with the game. My toon will get stuck and continue running off in one direction and not stop unless I unplug the controller and reconnect. However, I may have to plug/unplug a few times before the connection is reestablished. This kind of issue also happens sometimes when I wayshrine and upon arrival my toon won't move unless I plug/replug a couple times.

It is entirely possible it is the controller?? Wondering if anyone else has such an issue?

I did have that same problem and a new controller fixed it. At first I thought it was the game and I tried and tried to fix it. Then I thought it was the usb port but switching to another port didn't help. I finally broke down and bought a new controller and everything has been fine since.

Thanks for the feedback. Alas I feared as much. I love my controller. Don't tell the KB/M contingent. LOL.

Is it the same direction each time? Xbox controllers have been notorious for developing a stick drift that will apply a constant directional input while idle. It will eventually get to the point where resetting the controller won't even help.

Unfortunately, I haven't found any (reasonable) solution outside of replacing the controller.

That is a good question? I'll try to pay attention to the direction part. I am not sure how I would reset it??
