When Does eso early access Start? According to the Buy Page, Standard (https://account.elderscrollsonline.com/store/product/eso_standard) get 5-day EA ("5 days early access to the game before the official launch"), but this page (http://www.siliconera.com/2014/03/29/elder-scrolls-online-early-access-starts-sunday-imperial-edition-pre-orders/) says we Only get 3 Day?!

Bad Info? or was there a Change? And is it today like it says? or Tomorrow? So what? I'm not getting what I Payed for?!

There are two options either 3 day or 5 day depending on your preorder status

I have physical Imperial Edition pre-order. I have 5 days
My husband has digital Standard Edition pre-order. He has 5 days.

I'm wondering if it had something to do with if you participated in beta, because we both did, but I'm not sure.

So How do I know what one I got? I am assuming that since my screen says 5 Day, i have the 5 Day? I did not see any option to change anything when i bought the game.

A while ago, all standard pre-orders got you 3 days of early access, but it changed. Now, all pre-orders from the official page get you 5 days of early access and most retailers/websites only offer 5 days with the Imperial Ed. pre-order.

Also, you can check if you have one or the another by logging in your ESO account (account.elderscrollsonline.com) and clicking on "Billing History".

That doesn't explain who got 3 day or 5 day or the rationale behind it though

If you pre-ordered a standard edition from an outside source like GMG, you get only a three-day early access.

That was the case for me and my wife, though for the price of $45 apiece I think its worth the two-day wait.

Besides ... I can still come here and read about the mistakes by the early bug testers. :)

I would also like to add that both digital versions (imperial and standard) both have 5 days. The retail versions bouth differ. Retail Imperial had 5 days, Retail standard has 3.

    I hope this helps.

I purchased the Physical Imperial Edition and should have 5 days early access but do not.
I contacted GameStop and they said Zenimax only issued a limited amount of 5 day early access codes. My game was pre-purchased Jan 29th 2014. They gave me an activation code that turned out to be only a three day code. I made a complaint and they told me to call Zenimax's 301 phone number to get my code because all the 5 day codes they were given by Zenimax were issued. I called the 301 number and the Zenimax Online Studios were closed. I am still not able to grasp why I can't have a 5 day early access code.

After purchasing your game, did you check your Zenimax account? The day I purchased mine and my wife's, they both showed three-day early access.

If yours showed 5 days, you may have a legitimate complaint.

My game was purchased as a gift. The purchaser has the 5 day code for their digital imperial edition that was bought from the Zenimax online store but that is the only code they received. Two games, one code.

I pre-orderd the standard from amazon and it says 2 different things on it's game page. at the top it says you get 5 days head start and further down it says you only get 3 days head start. does anyone know which it is. ether way i ended up switching my pre-order with them over to the imperial edition and now it wont let me enter the head start code.

Log in your account (http://account.elderscrollsonline.com/) and check your Billing History. It will say if you have 5 or 3 days code :)

You cannot add your new code, you have to contact support and they'll add it :)

The 3-day access version (independent retailer physical version) was a LOT cheaper than the 5 day version (official site download).

I didn't think £30 was worth 2 days of buggy playing.
Still don't, despite the facial tic and uncontrollable shaking.

Just got back from church a little while ago, so sorry about the delayed response.

Recommend contacting Zenimax directly. Challenge is that they'll likely be inaccessible until Monday, so you'll have to work out some sort of compromise with them - perhaps a discount on the first subscription.

Well, this isn't true in every case. I pre-ordered with Gamestop way back in the middle of last year for the same full price you pay through the ESO store ($59). It only got me 3-day access. When I did the pre-order, it only assured you of early access, it didn't even say how many days you would get. I think it's pretty lame that long after-the-fact they would come up with this tiered system. I feel kinda cheated, because had I known, I would have ordered it through ESO (of course, I don't remember it being available for PO at that time, either).

I paid only $45 for the standard edition through GMG, and it gave me three days of early access.

Sounds like a great (and fair) deal to me. Like I was saying, for those that paid the same full-retail price as those through the ESO Store....... :-/

This clears up nothing for me because GameStop insists that ZOS gave them a limited amount of 5 day early access codes and I need to contact ZOS to get the 5 day code. This was a gift. The gifter feels like a heel because I can't get my code. This is getting to the point where I am going to file a consumer complaint against GameStop and ZOS. Shame on us for being excited about a product.
