Ebenheart Pact - How do I get to the starter island?

As the title says. I headed to the docks as the prophet said but can find no clues when there.

As soon as you find yourself in the first city, nearby should be a quest giver. By taking said nearby quest you will go to the starter island.

Yeah, should have been starter island with a wayshrine option to the mainland; that way the people who actually understood the game mechanics could move on and the newbies would have somewhere to wise up to the game before getting into any real trouble.

To find the quest giver to go back to Bleakrock - Walk out the door, turn slightly to your right and walk to the fountain and the old man with the quest symbol over his head. He will give you the quest to go back to the island.

The prophet also mentions you can go to the harbor to go to the island as well.

To get to Bleakrock Isle, you need to talk to the old man (who is NOT the Prophet), who sends you to the docks where you talk to Liezl ... she sends you to Bleakrock Isle ...

There's no man with a quest symbol over his head. Someone showed him to me and he doesn't give me any quests.

Talk to the prophet after entering your main city. Tell him you want to meet those who rescued/found you. The prophet will direct you to a specific captain on the docks.

If you have already talked to him, and did not ask about who found you, or if you already left him and he disappeared, I'm not sure if you can do it.

Ok, apparently you have to ask the prophet about the people who rescued you. You then get a quest chain back to the islands. Otherwise open your map and look for the large anchor icon. Go down to the ships its a small boat just to the right of the docks.

It's easier to find if you have the quest chain for it.
