You can also add the 'hide helm' option to your quickslot now too- just like you'd add a costume or hat.
Mate ive played 2.5years and I missed it to!
Collections, hats, hide!
Are you on EU Davor? Will send ya some leveling gear if you need
@ZOS_Edward , apparently this option does not work for Disguises. Ive been unable to hide helms for disguises that have them, with or without the momento or polymorph option.ZOS_Edward wrote: »This article also includes how to hide the Polymorph helmets that are able to be hidden as well.
You can find the support article here.
You can't hide helmets on disguises anymore. That is working as intended. (It also tells you that in the support article he linked.)ZOS_Edward , apparently this option does not work for Disguises. I would prefer they finally get around to doing what we've been asking them to do for years, and add costume versions of disguises in the quest rewards once the quest is over. Then the disguise item can function like a disguise as intended, but the costume exists for anyone who wants to retain the look.IMO removing the option to hide helmets on disguises is a bad idea. Yes they were meant to be temporary and tied to the quests they are acquired in, but they became fashionable and some even became favorites.
But now we're forced to look at those dumb helmets/hats on those costumes? May we ask why disguises were removed from the hide helmet system? Can it be reinstated?
If I want to dress like a mercenary, the dark leather armor of the Veiled Heritance looks awesome. But the helmet feels out of place sometimes. If I felt like wearing an Imperial Legion disguise because it fits a character's RP theme (and it looks better than crafted armor of the imperial style), I'd like to be able to run around without wearing that flamboyant roman-looking helmet.
Can the option to hide disguise helmets be reinstated, please?
I don't see why one single toggle in the Options menu had to be split into three different places. Having one toggle is much easier to understand than having different toggles in different places for polymorphs, gear and costumes. You either want your helmet hidden or you don't; it doesn't matter where the helmet came from.
