What furnishings would you LOVE to get your paws on that are currently unavailable?

as an artist, everytime I loot some "oil paint" or run past an easel with paints and stuff in Tamriel, I wish I could put one in my house. Like really, why is this not a thing yet?!

Many great suggestions here! As a person who has truly enjoyed housing, belongs to a housing guild, and anticipates/collects every luxury furnishing - I would love to see cobwebs. I love seeing them throughout the world and in dungeons and has been my hope for quite some time that ESO introduces them as a furnishing.

Also, would love to see things that add 'life' to a home. Now there are many suggestions of new npc's, alt toons able to be placed so on and so on, but my suggestion would be mice. It would be tough Im sure, but would love to see mice scampering about a house, running to and fro.

Lastly, I would like to see a furnishings or even better- a house-that is modeled after a Vampire and Werewolf style. We have lots of styles for all the races but nothing for Vampires and Werewolves despite there being a strong community base that truly relishes being of a chosen 'curse' as well as a large community base that thoroughly enjoys role playing with their said 'curse'.

So ZOS, hope these three suggestions don't get lost in the shuffle as I have heard many (and see many in this thread) suggestions from other housing enthusiasts but feel these three are strong points to consider and would be welcomed by many!

The redguard round oven as a cooking station

---Or an invisible object you can place in any fire that makes it a cooking station (fireplace, redguard fire, etc).

Beehives (like the one on the SW side of windhelm)

A blacksmith's forge that would fit in the storehouses/workshops of "classic" homes (not the anvil, the forge itself)

+1 on:

Stair parts
plants in general
the crates that are 'sittable' that you find in dungeons and towns sometimes
NPCs - the houses are lonely with just the merchant, smuggler and banker around.
farm animals and fish and general living things
boats - long boats, small sailboats, etc.
mannequin/weapon rack that you can place real items on, or even a limited few 'furniture' armor/weps. The generic model exists in the world - we pick them up all the time!
Wall and floor building pieces
Sleepable beds
Non-daedric fences

My list goes on and on

Not really a furnishing per se, but I'd really like a body of water, preferably in multiple sizes/shapes, so we could create our own ponds and fountains for our houses.

One of my buying decisions is if the home has a nice fireplace. Most, sadly, do not and I dislike having to build one. It would be nice if a small selection of fireplaces could be created to place into houses.

There is a cupboard full of scrolls I want super badly, in one of the Dark Brotherhood quests. It's the "Lesson In Silence" quest, when you go in to find Simbar killed and laying on a table.

I wanted to echo the idea above of small or invisible items that add an attribute (cooking station, etc.) to furnishings they are placed in.

Now that it's officially dead, maybe we could take some lessons from EQNext: Smoke and effect emitters. Customizable (race/sex/costume/name) assistants.

Y'all are sitting on a goldmine. Mine it. Take my money and time...

That’d be just WOW if we could have a perfect replica of wolves in stone or black marble ( same size as the wolf mount ) , statues I mean as I’d fancy to have 2 of them placed inside my house. I’m passionate about wolves and Werewolves as you can tell .

I would love weapon and armor displays that can hold my actual equipment, in my opinion this is the best thing from the other ES games that is missing here.

I would also love to have a statue of Nocturnal, my Khajit thief is saddened that he can't pay proper respect at his residence.

From the Summerset pre-quest - the dark crystals, corals, and glowing mushrooms from Mephala's realm.

Oh, and the giant, glowing corals from Vivek's Antlers, the searchable Deadric urns (I want to make a replica Shrine of Azura), large trophy heads (echatere, regular troll, etc), large boats (think Abah's Landing) - even if they're only decorative and you can't go anywhere except the deck!

I can't remember if I suggested this before. I would love more plant/flower options offered by the zone vendors, preferably for gold. Some zone vendors only have like 2 trees and 2 plants, even though the zone has way more kinds of plants. The plants not offered aren't even in the crown store.
