Character creator bug?

Hello

I am trying to create a character, but I cannot zoom into my characters face, when I must modify face characteristics. It worked in the beta, but I cant now.

    Just to let you know, I repaired the game and it fixed.. sorry for posting it

    Hey guys! If you're having trouble zooming in on your character during character creation, try first creating a random character, logging out, and then creating the character you want. I believe the bug is due to the fancy intro cinematic/camera.

    Yep, I can confirm this. You definitely don't have to leave the game or verify the files. Just create some dummy character, relog, then create your real character.

    From the launcher, you select 'Game Options' in the middle of the screen and then select Repair.

    It's fixed by indeed making a new char first :). Thank whomever suggested that, sorry i didnt read it sooner, didnt refresh this page often enough.

    The ingame-mail is account-wide, so... if u just create a char and leave without redeeming them, you shouldn't lose them :smile:

    I have done a repair and still cannot zoom in. I use the + sign beneath the character, switch to face, use mouse scroll.

    This is still an issue. I will just be picking name and then back to waiting until this is sorted out.

    EDIT: Very odd, it suddenly started working so players should note it is erratic and may suddenly work for you.

    Toon / Mana / WoW or any acronym following "In ___" /
    Pets (when referring to summoned Daedra) / Any verbiage to express slang (ie, ending in uz,az,..) / Soul Stone

    well, never made the same bug, after I repair... So repair fix this without the need to create and re-create... Btw am almost lvl 8 now, but need to take a break...

    Waited whole day and still unable to zoom, and there must be more people like me whos unable to do character without that ..just saying.

    Obviously did expect some launch issues but this is kinda awkward because can't even create a character!
