Camera is moving when I hold still or run a straight line

I started playing again after some time away, and this bug is very frustrating. I've tried changing settings in the camera section, but it keeps happening. This occurs in both first-person view and 3rd person view.

The camera--all on its own volition--starts moving off in one direction. This seems to happen after moving my cursor the same direction two or more times in a row. The camera just keeps drifting. I can stop it sometimes by moving the cursor back and forth, but it starts up again with the slightest movement of my cursor.

I find this very frustrating, almost to the point of stopping play. I'm an older player and had a hard enough time running a straight line before I left. Now, it is almost impossible for me.

This other problem could be related, so I'll mention it here. I'm getting a headache during combat and having a hard time focusing. I think the cursor is drifting in combat which is causing these problems.

If you can fix this soon, I would be very appreciative.

Have you tried another mouse? I could be your hardware. I have the same when my super sensitive mouse gets some dust under the sensor.

This is a game bug most likely as it affects at least 5 people in my core grp including myself. I've upgraded my mouse and changed my mouse pad but this bug still persists. I'm pretty sure this was introduced with the hotr patch last year and just isn't well reported by people due to them thinking it's a hardware or software issue.

I'm using the same mouse as I did before. My computer is much faster, but the mouse is still a Razor Deathadder Chroma. Further, I have no problem in other games or even in the ESO character selection screen.

Hey Mickey! He likes it! I checked "Override high DPI scaling behavior" and selected "Application" in the drop-down list. Now, my camera is no longer drifting. Thank you, SilentRaven1972.

Lol I thought it was my mouse :D The same mouse was used on two different PCs (EU server) so I thought that was the problem
Happens to me as well sometimes. Not extremely annoying as you can quickly move your mouse and disable the camera self-movement again but it is immersion breaking.

I have this same issue, as do a lot of other player, it's definitely not your hardware.
You just going to stand there like a lemon?
