Can only redeem preorder items on one character, and can not email them to other character
So I am making a few characters to grab my preferred names, but I opened my in-game emails on a character I don't want to use first. I did not realize the pre-order bonus items were only available to ONE of my characters. I assumed they were useable across my whole account or on each character. I can not even email them to my preferred character (they do not appear in the items list when drafting an email to myself).

ZOS_AmeliaR✭✭✭✭✭To make any one of your digital pre-order items available to other characters, you will need to deposit them in your shared bank and then withdraw it with a new character. Items will not be duplicated for every character on an account. Please let us know if this doesn't work for you.1

Sorry to ask again but I am close to leaving coldharbour and want to swap over the coldharbour treasure map if I can. Is the shared bank something I can do at level 1?0

Osi✭✭✭The bank is in the first large, starting city you get dumped at after Cold Harbor.
Preorder items you accidentally lost can be recovered but you need to go through ZOS; check the FAQ. Though I wouldn't expect them for awhile; they are going to be very busy this and next week.0 -

✭✭✭✭This is just unacceptable. People paid ahead of time, with extra money for these items in game. Not only are they not account wide but if you delete your original character, god forbid its not what you wanted, you lose these items for good as it appears. Im not sure what is going through the minds of those in charge of all of this. But I can guarantee you. In the next coming days a storm of angry gamers are going to swarm this forums looking for blood.

In the meantime, as @ZOS_GinaBruno and @ZOS_JasonL pointed out in another thread related to this, our Customer Support team is able to get these items back for you if they've been deleted. Please take a moment to contact them if your bonus items are gone.1
