To PC Templar players...a question

With the latest update, the area of effect of Puncturing Sweeps has been increased from a 8x5 meter rectangle to a 8x6 meter rectangle...

With that in mind, how much easier is it now to hit opponents with Sweeps? Particularly the ones that immediately start Bunny Hopping the moment you start to attack them...

    I still do pretty good, namely because PVE mobs don't bunny hop.

    No noticeable diff to me in PvE. Sounds like the change was for PvP reasons.

    Dark flare can make many unsuspecting players "sit the **** down" if they have a jumping habit.

    Sweeps doesn't feel any better to me though...They know what the issue is, but did a check in the box easy "fix" so that they have an excuse not to touch it again for a few years. They did not fix the issue...

    That and Jabs/Sweeps is still being double mitigated by Red CP stars and currently the snare on the last hit is dodgeable despite the dmg being undodgable.

    It will be a long time before ZoS admits templar's main melee DPS ability is in a weird place.

    Short answer is DKs likely won't be seeing a ton of changes before we go live; this class is still quite powerful (as it should be being a tank), even after some of the adjustments we've made to other classes and abilities.

    DK IS NOT JUST A TANK CLASS. #PLAYTHEWAYYOUWANT

    Well that's a toss up between Jabs, Blazing Spear and Dark Flare imo.

    I don't really notice a difference in PvP with the extra 1m width. However as Minno points out, I do notice the difference in damage in PvP. I believe the number was around 20% less according to Cinbri in the PTS and that feels about right to me.
