Dark flare can make many unsuspecting players "sit the **** down" if they have a jumping habit.
Sweeps doesn't feel any better to me though...They know what the issue is, but did a check in the box easy "fix" so that they have an excuse not to touch it again for a few years. They did not fix the issue...

That and Jabs/Sweeps is still being double mitigated by Red CP stars and currently the snare on the last hit is dodgeable despite the dmg being undodgable.
It will be a long time before ZoS admits templar's main melee DPS ability is in a weird place.

I think it will be a long time before they recognize that Templar is in a weird place.
Still the least reliable ability in the game when it lags. And it always lags.
