Dual Wield+Restoration Staff?

I am looking into making an Argonian character either DK or Templar and I want to use DW and since restro staff is part of Argonian racial I would like to use that as well. Though im not sure if I would go magicka or stamina. I have read magicka works pretty well with DW. But i would like some advice/help on this.

Argonian Templar Healer can do this pretty well. Use class skills on the DW bar, and the Resto Staff heals on the Resto Bar.

You can do it pretty well for a DK too, but the skills you’d need are high up in the trees, which make leveling a slight pain.

It's a good setup

but I'm DW Sorc from launch so based. Personally I'd say that's Magika setup rather than a Stam cos of the Restro

Thank you. I know its not dps but templar healer can still dish out damage? Also would it be magicka or stamina? If magicka im assuming light armor and stamina medium.

Templars and Resto Staff heals are Magicka-based, so Magicka it would be. You're right about light armor, too.

This is a very typical set up for magplar pvp, prolly most common. Dk would choose sword and board over dual wield. Reason is very simple, jab is a channeling ability, templer can’t block while jab, dual wield just do more dmg. Vma resto is strong and spam rapid regen is the best way for a defensive build to gain ap.

After play templar for a bit i wasnt really feeling it so i switched to DK Dunmer. now i would like to use DW (or whichever melee works best) and destro staff but im not sure if i should take skills from DW since they are stamina and im going to go magicka.
