deleted my character and lost preorder items

    I talked to in game support and they told me to just play and check back later to see if it's fixed... told me they are looking into how to fix this growing issue

    Big Fat Edit: found how to make this work, Appearently i can deposit pets just fine atm. dont know why it wouldnt earlier (all i did was relog)

    about the treasure maps: in order to deposit these you need to unpack the collection thing, meaning you CAN deposit single treasure maps, you CANT deposit the zone-collection of the treasure maps. Meaning now i just need to unpack and sort them out based on faction somehow and try to deposit them like that :)

    Yeah I made the same mistake. Kept second guessing my race/class combination and didn't realize that the items would stay with the character who redeemed them. Hopefully they can fix this because it's very frustrating.

    Where did you guys get treasure maps? I haven't gotten mine, I only got my imperial mail and the beta monkey.

    Got a reply from support saying they are checking to see if the items can be recovered. They´ve closed my ticket so they wont be replying back... Did any one get any progress resolving this issue or we should just wait and see?

    well Im glad to see Im on good company on this one I did the same thing made a quick character to hold a name while I went to work got back. freed the name made my character and lots the mail somehow

    One more here. Unfortunately, there is an advice about that. Randomly, at launcher start, a hint pops up saying to store your items in bank. Though, it is random, so I didn't see it *before* deleting my char: not that much user friendly. I hope it gets addressed soon. Please Cisco, keep us up to date about the fix and if we need to get in touch with the Bethesda guys to fix :smile:

    This was addressed not long after launch yesterday:

    Please ensure that you do not delete a character that has retrieved Imperial Edition or Standard Edition items out of the mail until you put the items in the bank. If you have accidentally deleted your Imperial Edition or Standard Edition items, please contact support: https://help.elderscrollsonline.com/app/ask

    True. Anyways, contacted the customer support this morning and they promptly came back to me, stating the issue is being looked into and they'll get in touch when the items will be restored - not if....
    Suggest to do the same guys :smile:

    LIES, i send a couple of tickets/ e-mails to them and as a respond saying that one of my tickets (with a certain referance code) was already selected to be solved informing me that the other ones i send were considered "closed" because of this. Yet i didnt obtain any single e-mail regarding the selected e-mail/ticket they were refering to. so send yet another e-mail asking for some clarity. and NO respond or items back after 2 days!

    I am sorry for the lateness of my response. The Thieves guild stole my computer and just now got it back by setting them on fire with magicka and then celebrated my triumph by break dancing with guars.

    I was able to restore the items that you lost. and they should be in an IN GAME EMAIL

    Please be sure the check the mail of all of your characters for your restored items and please DO NOT DELETE any of you characters until you have checked all of them.
