Personally, I found the expanded field of view and the ability to see to the side and even a bit behind of whatever I'm controlling to be extremely useful. I think it helps my situational awareness by letting me see incoming attacks, proximity dangers, and nearby characters/units. As a plus I can see my own character's outfit; or in other games personal camos and decals.

This is pretty interesting, we're really liking the reasoning behind why you chose your personal view.
It's cool as well that some of you can flip between each to observe details or gain some tactical advantage.
