kinda debating what morph 2 use in PvP on my Magblade. its basically a 30% bigger shield vs magica return when hit(unreliable)
Whats the better morph???

The magicka return is really, really good.

if you aren't getting hit enough to take advantage of the magicka return, you don't really have anything to worry about. That's my logic, anyway.

If you’re using Lich or another sustain set: Dampen. If not, Harness.

On a Magblade i would use Dampen and find sustain elsewhere. It is your only shield. It needs to be as big as possible.

Also, depending on what hits you, you may not get the magicka return from Harness, but you will always get the bigger shield from Dampen.

It's a pretty tight race, which is good.

Breton as a race is good for pvp right?

with Dampen I get a 10.5k Shield... With Harness it is 7.6k with magic sustain but only against magic damage users (With battle spirit)

On anything other than a Mag Sorc, I would choose Dampen.

I use Harness on my magblade in PvP. The fights against exclusive stamina users are rare. As soon as there is a magicka user in the opposing group, the sustain benefit is very noticeable, especially when you get focused and end up spamming shields.

If you face a single, hard-hitting stamblade, you may wish for Dampen. A 10K shield vs an 8K shield is noticeably better. Another way to get that size shield, while keeping the Harness morph, is to stack magicka to about 50K, which you can do comfortably with something like Shacklebreaker, Necropotence, Shade and Inner Light, on a +10% magicka race (Breton, High Elf).

Warden is tankier than NB, but let me say that I run a Shackle / Necro / Harness setup on my warden. Harness is about 10.5K in PvP, and at that size I feel comfortable dropping some crit resist, as the shields (Harness + Healing Ward) hold much better.
