If you were happy with the sub model you had to begin with, guess what? There’s still a sub model out there (ESO+) that essentially fulfills their original promise.
This obviously does not include the chapter expansions, but what other mmo does not follow the same expansion format?
I hate to be that jerk that says this, but for each of you that complain because you feel it’s somehow p2w, there’s ten of us that understand Economics 101 and realize that if you want a new or upgraded product, you’re going to have to pay for it.
This, in WOW who is an subscription game you can not touch the endgame as in non leveling dungeons, raids or pvp.leothedino wrote: »As much as I hate to say this (and after years of grinding for gear), in order to silence the pathetic P2W whining, they need to up the CP/item level on gear. Because then this new chapter will be like any of the others MMOs and their expansions, and simply 'the next step'. If you want to compete, buy it and upgrade.
The majority of MMO's out there do this, they sell expansions that raise the level, honestly, ESO is the exception. Other games release an expansion and you either buy it or fail to gain the new level/gear needed to compete at end game. The issue ZoS have is that they replied/voiced sympathy to the community on increased character and item level. Because of this, frankly, we now all feel self-entitled to stay top dogs with our gear, class and skills without progressing anymore.
We're going to have to switch that to "nerf psijics" now.Emmagoldman wrote: »Is this where i mention nerf sorcs?
wasn't Psijic Order was a fan base idea of creating new skills like mixing some stats or skills and it will come up with a new skill ?!!

wardens are bottom of the barrel in pve dps atleast magika and Templars and dragonknights are still preferred in trials over them... pvp they do work however but pvp is 10 percent of the game yet they cant be buffed for pve or pvpers will whine
I appreciate what the people are doing to find this. My question is how? By that I don't understand how they can find it. Where are they looking? Is Zenimax actually putting out content early but hidden? If so why? Why have things in a game that is not going to be out for a year or so?

Being bottom of the barrel to min-maxers does not make the class ruined. And the class has only existed in the game for 3 updates. With uncountable updates ahead of us. Nightblades at launch were ruined.
I really really hope that it's not going to be introduced as a skill line accessible to just anyone. I mean, I get that it's immersion breaking already having a dragonknight cast mages guild spells etc but Psijics are meant to be something rare. It would make no sense for all the inhabitants of Tamriel to suddenly have the powers of the Psijic order! I personally think it makes more sense to have a new class based around it instead. I'm by no means an RP player, but immersion is something big in this game. Please don't break it!

if you are completely at the bottom in the barrel in pve, why would they take your class over another one for trials? Dps wise...

Because they arent min-maxers? Because a lot of people arent that hung up on which class is the flavor of the month top notch dps?
Im in numerous guilds that take newbies through both normal and vet dungeons and trials regardless of race and class. Never do I hear complaints about dps from anyone experienced or leading the run. The only thing I hear is questions coming from inexperienced players themselves with a plethora of knowledge being dropped on them without it being toxic and nasty.
The only place I ever see this sort of stupidity is in threads like this. Where players think their personal, and unwanted opinions are as good as fact.

"The only place I ever see this sort of stupidity is in threads like this. Where players think their personal, and unwanted opinions are as good as fact." Honestly, *** off. a class doesn't matter obviously when you are in a casual guild like you are describing but in a trials guild that is serious and is running more difficult content fotm is more important and being a fotm class Is more important as youd be more likely to be chosen for the run over the magika warden that can only pull 30k dps. Its ok if you run a rp archer bow build in your own group or any other build that is sub par as its simply a fun guild run but balancing for end game pve is an important aspect to the people that actually care about competing end game content consistently and in record runs. Balancing matters to end game perspective because it affects end game the most such as endgame pvp and pve, and the casual crowd can do casual content just fine with or without buffs to their classes, with or without bis gear, etc.

Excuse me? If you dont like to be called out for your elitist nonsense dont post on these forums. The vast majority of players in this game are not min-maxers. Dont try to be. Youre free to think and hold the opinion that Wardens were "ruined" but when you come on here and make such claims. Dont be so sensitive when someone tells you youre full of it.
You claimed Wardens were ruined. I called you on it. Dont pretend as if Im saying balancing isnt important because Im not.

It doesn't say anything about the Psijic Order under spellcrafting.
NONONONONO.
The thing is with a class is that you then lose the strengths of other classes. But with a skill line, if its UP, you can leave it. If its OP, you can run it with your class skills.
This has much more chance of being P2W than say a race/class. Since it is a direct extra option.
If its for everyone. Sure. If not. Don't allow it before you get "Hey guys, here is a new gear slot you can get just for buying the DLC isn't it great?" Not imbalanced at all.

I am very suprised people can't draw the very visible line between pay to play vs microtransactions.
If Its gonna be locked behind a paywall, it is a clear pay to win scenario, just like warden, but warden is at least a class on its own, so a new skill line sounds dangerous. Especially if they're gonna lock it up behind a 40 bucks pay wall.
