I turn all that off so I can’t relate. I don’t like the 1990’s look to nameplates and bars and such

It's helpful in PvP so you can easily tell who you're about to fight. If you see some guilds you know you can still be messing around a bit, but other guilds you know it's time to put on the Serious Pants. Much like turning hazard effects to a bright pink, I hate the look but love how useful it is. I always turn it off outside of Cyro, though.
