Unable to Change Password - Can an Admin Please PM Me?

This actually regarding my wife's account.
She is unable to login nor can she change her password. She could get as far as entering in a new password using the recover password feature and it rejects any password she tries with "your password could not be updated."
Since she cannot login, she can't login to send a proper ticket. She tried emailing the support email (which she dug up from a previous ticket) and just got an auto response linking back to the useless and broken recover password link. She managed to send a ticket in using the "account compromised" option but has not heard back yet.
What gives? I'm trying to assist her with this and I've never encountered such a confusing and hard to reach support.
