The problem I have is that... you are basically FORCED to answer this stupid 'accept reward' thing before you can interact with anything, which is especially annoying at Dolemens. You cannot free the final lock or access the chest until you... so in that way, YES, it's extremely intrusive... ZOS should have at least picked a key that isn't bound to be your main 'interactive' key.

You write something on a public forum then you are subject to other people`s opinion. If you do not like it stick to using your diary to vent.

I'm confused. I have changed very few keybinds, roll, auto Run, weapon swap, and walk/run. My main interaction key is "E". I didn't change it to that. "F" is only used to interact with other players. It looks like you are interacting with you objective with "E". What else do you use "F" for?

I use it for example to draw/sheath my weapon - player interaction is with me bound to P - Player - while F is bound to draw/sheath as in "fight" - I do not like to run around with a drawn weapon, if I am not going to fight, so I sheath it after use.

Ok, I reply to this a last time - he was talking about the font size - and that it is not intrusive, because the font would be rather small - this was a silly comment which ignored all the other issues which come with this - the font is rather small - this is just annoying to read such a comment with it - that is why I said, this is not adding anything to the conversation. A comment, made just to annoy people with real concerns about the issue and valid arguments and on top of it silly - I guess he did not even read about the issues people and me have with it.

I take offense to this. I don't make comments just to "annoy people". I legitimately wanted to share my opinion on it and it made you mad for whatever reason. I was trying to have a reasonable discussion about this but whatever. You can just hit the button and take the rewards and continue on with what you were doing. I fail to see how this could be an issue for anyone and wanted to voice that opinion. I don't come on here to troll.
You CAN turn the feature off! FFS! This feature is really great for new players. They can pick the roles they aspire to be and be guided along the way so we don't get a healer orc with a bow and ice staff turning up in a dungeon through group finder. Stop complaining about everything. A simple click removes the announcement from your screen forever. Seriously.
I'm not complaining about free stuff. It's that I'm being pestered at every level over these awards and my skill points and attribute points are being held hostage until I give in, stop whatever I'm doing, press F and go through the whole ridiculous pat-on-the-back nonsense. For every damn level. Great game design, ZOS.

You don't have to draw your weapon before a fight to attack. Likewise, if you sheath your weapon, you will draw it with your next attack. You should also be used to not hitting that button.

Yeah, but that is not the case in every game and I am using the same keys in every game, where it is possible - and I am used to draw the weapon before I attack and to sheath it when there is no aggro towards me any longer. If the game let's me auto-draw the weapon or not, is not important to me - I am roleplaying and draw my weapon myself before I use it and i put it away when I do not need it.I am as well not using auto-loot, but do that "by hand" - and to be able to do that, I need a free hand, which means I have to either drop or sheath my weapon - you see, I am roleplaying, regardless what the game allows me to automate, I am not using this kind of thing. I will certainly not run around with a drawn weapon without a need to do so.
On the one hand, the implementation of the leveling rewards is...well, let me just say that ZOS has completely lived up to my expectations. Again. That was not a compliment.
On the other hand, compared with some of the other UI nonsense we, the players, have been dealing with for...ever, pretty much, the new leveling rewards do not strike me as that bad. Tolerable, even, to a degree. Especially after one gets a stable of level 50 characters and no longer has to deal with the whole thing.
Separately, on the third hand (!), from this day forward any time anybody mentions the word "immersion" in any context viz. ESO, I shall inevitably reply with the following two words: Saviour Schnapps*. Because that is what immersion taken to the absurd gets you, and apparently those devs are already feeling sorry about it and promising to fix it.
* - For those who do not know, in the new Kingdom Come game each time you want to save you need to buy/brew a bottle of Saviour Schnapps. Every. Single. Time. For fun, here are the steps to the crafting process copied from a guide:
You need to pour wine into the cauldron.
Grab two portions of Belladonna, grind them with the mortar and pestle, and put them in the small dish.
Put one portion of Nettles in the cauldron.
Pump the bellows six times to get the cauldron boiling.
Let the cauldron boil for two turns of the hourglass.
Put the ground Belladonna into the solution.
Pull the bellows three more times.
Let the mixture boil for one more turn of the hourglass.
Grab a phial and drain the still boiling solution into it.
Needless to say, nearly the very first player mod out of the gate was to bypass all of this and add a manual save system.

Totally understand the desire to have keys as much the same across games as possible. "Muscle memory" plays a big part in my effectiveness. I don't expect, though, for a game to cater to my preferences. It's lovely when it does but sometimes it's just not possible.
I too dislike the way the weapon is handled. I really dislike how actions of others when you're in a non-combat situation will draw it. It's a small thing though.
I've been successfully ignoring it until I have a clear moment to grab the reward. Low levels go very fast so it dings a lot, but once past level 20, levelling slows down unless power-levelling (which I'd consider the actual problem).
It'd be nicer if ZOS just had a toast on the side which told you to open C to get the reward, but it's generally not a problem.
As for this thread, it's fine to disagree; people who can't handle anyone having a different opinion go on my ignore list.
