Suggestion: Hide Tabard Option.

There needs to be a 'hide tabard' option like there is for helmets. I want to wear my guilds name with pride in cyrodil, but don't want that ugly tabard hiding my style lol. One of the reasons i liked wearing costumes because it hid the tabard. But now with the new styling system, i don't want to wear a costume anymore. So an option to hide the tabard would be great! If there is already a way to do this that I don;t knwo about pls let me know.

One cannot wear a tabard with pride if you're hiding it...

Someone proud of their guild/tabard would put it up on display!

Proud to wear the guild name, not the tabard. No one looks at your tabard to see what guild you're in, they look at your name and title that displays your guild.

Take the Tabbard off? There's no other point in having it equipped if you want it hidden.

Wearing the guild tabard displays your guild name in your title, so their is a reason to want to wear the tabard without it being visable.

ZOS will only add it if you pay 1k crowns to have it as an option per character just like they are charging to get outfits.

Bump!! This new fancy outfit system, hide this, dye that, change that but we still cannot "Hide Tabard". I'd like to represent without looking like I have the fashion statement of a toddler :(

I support this. Even though I like my tabard (I created it, after all), it just doesn't gel well with some of my outfits. Perhaps if there were some more options to fancy the tabard up, it would be better, but as is I would love it if you could hide it while still displaying your guild name with pride.

I'm not proud of the way my tabard turns my chest piece pitch black, no.

Here's one reason I want to hide my tabard.

I tested the motifs I had with a guild tabard, and these were the ones I found that had the glitch with the chest piece turning black and losing shape.

My current list of affected armor styles (All my owned motifs, not all motifs):
    Abah's Watch
    Apostle
    Ashlander
    Bloodforge
    Dreadhorn
    Ebonshadow
    Ebony
    Hollowjack
    Militant Ordinator
    Ra Gada
    Skinchanger
    Telvanni
    Trinimac

That's a lot of motifs that I can't use on my chest piece if I want to wear a guild tabard and not have my armor turn to a pitch black body mesh.

Sorry ... But surely this should have been picked up in PTS and a solution given, I think pc PTS is just for players to test new meta n get in a head of the curve n very little testing is done ... Time to move PTS to console

Remove the link of showing guild name and tabard. Have an option within the guild menu to "represent" your desired guild and guild items can be worn as "accessories.
Plus add more guild items which show the colours and emblems of the guilld your representing , its been ive 4 yeara and nothing has been done here

We need Hide Tabard OR another way to display active Guild Name like a Character Option with dropdown selection for active guilds. Either way. We want to display our Guild Name without wearing the Tabard that covers the Costume we spent so much money farming the motifs and then buying a Outfit slot, and then paying gold to assign our styles.

But, wait, a cloth covers up the whole thing.

Agreed, this is very important in pvp when your group chevrons are lost due to lag. I can find my group by spotting the guild names, but most are creating outfits now and don't want to cover them up, so fewer tabards are being worn. Also some people don't like the tabard look, but still want the guild association. There is also the issue that the tabard might be a color that clashes with your nice new outfit.

Anyway, being able to hide tabard like the hide helmet would be very nice.

That........................is an awesome idea, perhaps even allow is to put it in a small way on armor chests or shoulders, so we can still represent, just not in a crap tabard way.

Yes, they don’t recognize the guild by your tabard, but it being displayed is WHY your guild name appears. If you hid your tabard then nobody should be able to recognize (see your name displayed) your guild.

    Ya catch my drift?

Ok, then I’ll keep it simple: No, a hidden tabard does not make any sense whatsoever. At all. Not even almost a little.

That makes absolutely zero sense. Are you attempting a joke about in-game characters actually perceiving and identifying the pixels on front of another in-game character?
