I'm looking rather happily at my current level 32 character. 16k gold, and a crown crate. yes please. I don't really care about anything else. Also, I don't see the housing storage box listed. So those of you expecting to get a free box, well, unless you get it from the crown crate, you're S.O.L.

Yes well, as they say, ignorance is bliss. So many of you seem to be suffering from a severe case of Stockholm Syndrome. You've been abused by the gaming industry for so long that you've not only come to expect it but actually seem to look forward to it.

It's pretty simple really. The requirements for these rewards are to level a character from 1 to 50. People who have already done this meet those requirements and therefore should receive the reward. Making them go back and do it again is pointless.

The list is not complete. You get a reward for every level after level 3. The housing strage box is available at lvl18 (just as you get a couple of costumes, pets and materials too).

Nobody is making anyone do anything. Nobody has to level anything. The reward is not 'to level a character from 1 to 50'. That would be an achievement and hey, look there. "Level 50 Hero - Reach level 50" - theres an achievement for doing that.

As someone already said somewhere around here, you dont even need to do anything with this character. Get lvl 50 and get the lot. dont need skyshards, books, anything. And theres plenty of suggestions on these forums of how to do that in about 4hrs or some ridiculus short period of time. Dont wanna do it? then dont get the rewards. Thats how life works.

I really appreciate/love the fact that ZoS added a 15th character slot with this update, just in case you have 14 maxed out characters already (not as much as finally adding in weapon dyes, but it's still awesome.)

To which, if you have 14 maxed out characters already, chances are raising a 15th character to max level won't be the most difficult thing you experience in your time playing the game.

Also, as someone with multiple characters I plan to level up and haven't touched yet, I look forward to gaining the special rewards with them instead of automatically unlocking them by logging in with one of my max levelled characters.

I repeat myself; in my case I would have to delete a fully maxed character who works perfectly. Max level, max gear, max skills, mages guild etc. in order to get these rewards. And once I have re leveled that character I would need to do skyshards and everything all over again simply because I am in need of that character.

Amazed at the new lows well-seasoned players (some with 14 characters) will go ... for rewards that they mostly already have and are intended for new players anyway.

So sorry you all can't obtain that starter horse without rolling a new character ... when there are already 3 apex mounts in the stables at your manor.

I was a little annoyed with having to create another character to level to 18 to get the storage coffer because all mine were already above 18 due to the dungeon event, but I figured having one more to play to get free stuff during events won’t hurt me any.

I still think they should’ve added the slot for free, though, especially with all the trouble some people had losing bound items in storage chests when they deleted an existing character to create the new one.
