The veteran PvE content playerbase is a lot more exclusive than most people think it is. As I said, becoming accepted as part of this playerbase is so much more difficult than clearing the content they are aiming to do.

Even that's not 100% reliable. Night before last I ran vBC2. I got distracted about halfway through, and auto ran into a mob, looked back at my screen, dead. Well, derp. The other DPS had a couple unfortunate encounters with Rillis, and there was something weird going on with my resources the whole run (just couldn't maintain stamina, which was murdering my DPS). Come out the other side, finish it, the no death achievement dings.
Huh?
Come to think of it, we may have had some deaths during vDC2, and got the no deaths achievement there as well. (Though, it's distinctly possible that no one actually died.
I don’t think this is a good idea at all, because of the elitism that is going on even now. As someone who’s getting into veteran trials and veteran dlc dungeons, I can safely say that finding a group is a lot harder than actually clearing that particular content. Want to do vHoF? No problem, just link your achievement and your 35k+ dps parse. Yes, this is happening all the time. One of my guilds organised a training vAA run for everyone who thinks they are prepared for it. About 7-8 people including me never set foot into vAA before because we didn’t have the achievement. Surprise, we cleared the trial because the group leader explained all mechanics and we were actually listening, AND we knew how to play our classes. So now we can enter vAA because we have the achievement. But we still can’t enter vMoL because who the hell would accept someone who doesn’t have the achievement.
