Take whatever you want from this information.

Right, and on those things ZOS are not all that bad, people just get way too hung up on the negatives.Turelus I trust that people don't base their judgement too much on the bugs one can expect to appear rather than fair prices, fair customer treatment, functioning player support and the estimate of how long they think ZOS will be able to keep this game alive with their current design, balance and service philosophy.
If they uphold this like the AP, Morrowind SP and vAS achievements then it's going to continue a good run of showing they're cracking down on exploits.ANGEL_BtVS wrote: »
@Golevan @Axoinus @Lord_Dexter This poll is to provide feedback to ZOS about how their decisions effect their reputation. My plan was to repeat this poll after the next major content update to see if anything changed about the opinion of the player base.
Yes there is greed within the Crown Store but it's not like they only produce for that at the expense of the game.

Don't think it is fair to hint that by being an American company that implies they are bad....a lot of companies around the world are inept, greedy or both.
I voted a 4, because in my four months of playing I've witnessed more bugs with this game than any other. And though I am happy to buy items I like from the crown store, I suspected the game is designed around pushing folk towards crown purchases, either by making the in-game equivalent expensive to obtain, slow to get or non-existent, and both the outfit system and housing storage proves it.
What that means for future content remains to be seen.
So, no, I don't "trust" this company.
@DoctorESO you have your assignment, make it so.SirCritical wrote: »After this thread, Doctor_ESO will start a thread around "What do you think, should EA buy Zenimax?"
With my vote "6" I thought btw I'll be on the majority positive side of the result, it's somewhat interesting to see the disappointment of players.
As a company yes, but as a games development studio they show otherwise. You can't tell me the people working at ZOS that we see on a regular basis (Rich, Wrobel, Finn, Wheeler etc.) are not people who love the TES series and love the fact they have a job creating this game.Wrecking_Blow_Spam wrote: »As a company the only thing ZOS wants from you is money, like all others.
That's said I'd say EA are worse and more money grabbing.

Given that this game is buy to play and can be obtained for £12.99 from Game in the UK, and ZOS will receive only a small portion of that, I suggest that they need another funding stream that is not pay to win and they are achieving that with their cosmetic Crown Store purchases. Yes, DLC's and Chapter's also have to be paid for but they are not essential to be able to play the game and there have been many quality of life upgrades made to the base game that everyone receives whether they pay for DLC's or Chapters or not. Cosmetic Crown Store offerings are a positive for me, not a negative, they don't affect my gameplay and are totally optional.
This is a company that has shown time and time again that they don’t care much about their player base, but more so about how much money their player base can give to them. Why in the world would I trust them?
I think they're well aware of hGolevan Axoinus Lord_Dexter This poll is to provide feedback to ZOS about how their decisions effect their reputation. ZOS knows how things effect their company, they know yesterday doesn't look good for them. However they also worked like crazy to get issues sorted, that's all overlooked though by the fact an issue happened.
I would rather judge by how someone reacts to events than the events themselves, as it's inevitable poop will hit the fan sometimes.
